"Where did you and Taehyung really run off to?" Yoongi questions the younger, finally pulling his hand away from Jimin's grip, who looked at his hand disappointingly. He needs to set boundaries between the two of them because God knows he is not his best soldier. "I have known you for a long time, Jimin. I can tell just by the look on your face that you lied to Namjoon."

The younger releases a sigh he didn't know he was keeping and suddenly felt his chest feel much lighter. Jimin leans his back against the couch and looks up at the ceiling, "Taehyung and I visited Kihyun."

Yoongi's eyes immediately widened at the sound of their friend's name.

"It was only just me, it has been a while since the last time I visited, but Taehyung woke up a bit too early than everyone else, so he joined me," Jimin finished. He turns his head sideways and looks at Yoongi, who looks back at him with a curious look. "I would have asked you, but because of our current situation, it would be irresponsible of me to risk your safety."

"Still, I would have come with you, you know."

Jimin gives him a smile and nods, "I know."

They stayed like that in silence for a short while. They could hear Jimin's friends' voices echoing through the hallway from the living room. While the two of them sat on the couch, leaning their backs against the back of the sofa, and stared up at the white ceiling. They both know that their hands are sitting there right next to each other, almost touching but not really. Both are scared to touch each other's skin but are also tempted to do so.

"Yoongi, tell me, was what I did a stupid thing?" Jimin interrupts the silence between them. "When I drove all the way to see his grave and just walk away like that? I didn't even bring a single flower, and yet I still went over to visit him."

Even though he may not be looking at him, Jimin could still see Yoongi shaking his head, "What you did was not stupid, Jimin. You wanted to see your friend, and we both know that with flowers or not, Kihyun would still have appreciated that you visited him."

"You really think so?" The younger asks him desperately with a guilty look on his face.

The older nods and hums, "I know so. You're his friend Jimin, as much as mine. Even I haven't had time to visit him because of work and every other shitty thing that has been happening to my life."

Jimin looks at him again with his brows knitted together, "If you were really struggling like that, why didn't you ask for help? I was just a few blocks down the street from you, Yoongi. Why didn't you ask me for help?"

"Does that question still need an answer?" Yoongi chuckles, but they both know that it's forced. "We broke up, Jimin, the same night our best friend died in your hands. Not even months later, I find out that you're part of a well-known gang after I almost went homeless if it weren't for the work that I've been doing."
