Hearing the truth finally come out felt like a burden to Yoongi instead of relief. After listening to what Jimin had to say, he thought that would ease the tension and free his heart from the heartache and pain that was eating him alive, but what he is feeling right now is far from what he expected. Yoongi felt burdened. To be the reason why one of his closest friends had to die and to find out that Jimin had to kill and lie just to protect him felt so heavy on his shoulders that they were weighing him down.

Yoongi's knees started to wobble as his arms wrapped tighter around himself when he felt a cold breeze pass by them. He shivered, and Jimin noticed who just kept staring at him, watching his reaction, and waiting for what Yoongi wanted to say or tell him to do. Yoongi's eyes are tearing up as he stares off into the distance, feeling all the unnecessary anger and resentment that he had for Jimin pile up on himself.

It became too overwhelming, this emotional trainwreck that he was having, and Yoongi suddenly fell onto his knees, not having enough energy to carry himself up anymore. Jimin immediately went onto his knees as well, kneeling in front of Yoongi with both of his hands cupping Yoongi's cold and pale face that ran dry out of color.

"Again?" Yoongi whispered through the silence, shivering.

Jimin stared at him in confusion, "Again? What do you mean? Come on, baby, speak to me."

"Tell me," Yoongi gulps, chin raising to meet Jimin in the eyes, tears running down his cheeks. "Would you kill to kill to save a life? Again?"

The question meant something personal for both of them. For Jimin, who killed his own best friend as he asked for the sake of the love of his life, and for Yoongi, who watched his best friend die in the hands of the man, he loved deeply with his whole heart. Even the fact that Jimin lied and put his life at risk again by throwing away what could have saved everyone from a war nobody even asked for just because he wanted to spend more time with Yoongi.

"For you? I'll risk it all."

With his response, Yoongi truly felt like he didn't deserve the man looking at him warmly whose hands may have caused bloodshed but could never hurt a single part of his body.

"I don't deserve you," Yoongi smiled bitterly through the pain as tears continued to run down his face. "You shouldn't be doing this for me."

"But I want to," Jimin sighs and pulls Yoongi's face closer, and their foreheads touch, sending shivers down to Yoongi's spine. Not because of the cold, no, but because of how close the other's face is, reminding him of last night. "You mean so much to me, Yoongi. It is only right for me to do everything in my power to protect you because I promised Kihyun I would take care of you and because...."

Jimin could feel every heartbeat in his chest as he contemplated whether or not he should tell Yoongi. But he has come this far to stop and turn back now.
