The hell happened she winced holding her head
We won Steve gave her a small smile she looked around seeing she was propped up on a rock

Anybody else die she asked as Steve and Bucky helped her up Steve looked at her

Oh come on she mumbled they helped her walk as they got someone to clean her up

Steve walked to Veronica as she put a twizzler in her mouth "Please don't get any Taco Bell till I get back" he said
Depends if you bring me back a.... chocolate shake she said and smiled he chuckled

Sure he said taking one before walking to the smaller time machine she passed two to Sam and Bucky as she watched Steve Bruce counted down and he soon disappeared he counted down again and nothing happened Veronica stopped chewing her food and looked at Bruce
Where the hell is he? she asked
I don't know he blew right past his time stamp he said she looked over seeing a man on a bench
Uh, so I think I'm like still high from those drugs the doctors gave me or there really is a old man sitting on the bench that was not there like TEN SECONDS AGO she said the guys walked over to her as she began to walk to the old man they stopped Bucky looked at Sam
Go ahead he said he looked at the two and Veronica smiled nudging his arm he walked forward walking to him the two talked as Sam shook his hand he looked at his wedding ring
Wanna tell me about her he asked with a smile
No... No I wont he said
Cheeky old bastard she mumbled making Bucky laugh Steve looked back at her and held up the shake making her gasp loudly and sprint to him "I was lying but thank you" she said taking a bug gulp out of it he laughed
Stay out of trouble, Ronnie he said giving her a look she rolled her eyes
