"What's on your mind, lover boy?" Hunk asked, wiggling his eyebrows. "Alluraaaa?" 

"Hunk!" Lance cried, wrinkling his nose. "No. I was just thinking." 

"About?" 

Lance sighed. "Keith's been acting really weird lately. I'm not sure what it is." He responded. "He's all moody and stay-away-or-I'll-stab-you-with-my-stabby one minute and then kind and sweet and worried about me the next! It's like he's on a period or something."

Hunk snorted. "He likes you, idiot."

Lance's cheeks colored. "Whatttt? Noooo, Hunk have you eaten expired food goo again?" He asked and Hunk gave him a pretty good Lenny face.

"Just think on it." He said and Lance looked back behind him, catching one last glimpse of the long-haired male, walking away.

That night Lance rolled into bed, hugging a spare pillow. This was the first time in the whole day he had been able to hear his thoughts, and they were all about a certain, raven-haired boy.

Lance's mind went to earlier today when Lance had made a joke and Keith smiled at him. SMILED!! Keith!! He hadn't known it was possible. But oh my ancients, his smile was adorable and Lance could already feel his face heating up. 

'Stop being gay!' He thought, hitting his forehead with his hand, face already changing from pink to a deep red. 

The next day Lance made a plan. He would avoid Keith as much as possible. 'It's just a phase.' He thought, whistling as he passed the training deck to get to breakfast. 

Clang. 

Whack.

Crash!

Lance winced at the noise and peeked in, expecting to see Shiro. Instead, he was met with Keith standing over a fallen robot, sweaty and tired. 

Sensing something behind him, the shorter boy turned and Lance quickly ducked out of the way, already blushing. 

'Dang it, Keith!'
