"Jungkook, the train!"

Jungkook remained in his daydream. He looked up towards the skyscrapers as half of them were hidden away into the clouds. Raindrops started falling from the dark sky as he heard the final train whistle blow, snapping him out of his dream.

He gripped onto the luggage and ran over towards Lydia and his daughter, feeling small droplets of rain on his sweater leaving wet small patches.

As they stepped onto the train, the doors closed and soon, not long after that, the train started moving.

Once again, Jungkook took Lydia with him for business meetings to do with Dungrove towards the higher vampires.

But.

They were leaving earlier than planned. Six bodies were found by regular locals who walked the woods daily. It caught everyone's attention that they weren't human. The bodies were all vampires.

Jungkook impatiently wanted to get back home to his brothers. He tapped his fingers together, leaning his head against the glass window, watching everything pass by quickly.

Meanwhile, Lydia sat nervously. She knew she was heading straight into danger. She thought she could trust Dungrove to be her home, but she couldn't accept it. She couldn't accept the fear it gave her.

Bored with nothing to do for a few hours, she checked her phone. Once her phone turned on, all of her messages flowed in.

Jimin: Are you guys on your way back? IT'S HECTIC.

Hayley: Can't wait to see you guys again! Hopefully, you're feeling a lot better <3

Lydia chuckled, replying to some messages. The weekend break was enough for her to clear her mind. She was just dreading being in Dungrove again. It laid a curse upon her. It was making her ill and she couldn't explain why.

Lydia

Here I was once again, standing right beside the Dungrove sign. It made me weak to my knees at the sight of it. With all of the travelling I have been doing recently, it's made me realise I need to get away far from this town.

"Let's go solve this mystery!" Jungkook said, pulling a face in front of Rosa, making her giggle.

"Yeah, yeah, let's go."

Chills went down my spine as I gripped onto Rosa tighter. It felt different here. How bad could a town possibly change over a weekend?

Once we made it through the gates, my heart raced. I wanted to run again. I wanted to run free, but I had no choice. We need to help.

"Hello my little one, have you missed uncle Tae?" Taehyung cooed, he carefully took her from me and softly tickled her stomach.

"How was your weekend?" Taehyung asked.

"Stressful!" Jungkook sighed. "There are too many things happening at once. Where is Namjoon?"

"He is-"

"Here." Namjoon came into everyone's view with spots of blood over him, "That's all the bodies buried. Whoever it was, they hid their evidence good."

"There were no hints to who or what it could be?" Taehyung frowned, "Weird."

Jungkook agreed, "It is, we are all normally good at picking up and finding things."

"I'll head back. I just need to get this blood off me. Jungkook, get changed and come with me so you can see for yourself."

I looked over to see Jungkook nod his head. He gave me a quick tight squeeze on my hand and followed Namjoon upstairs.

"Uncle Tae has to go right now, we can play later, okay!" He smiled widely and carefully gave me back Rosa and stretched.

"I'll tag along with them. The rest of the boys are around town doing some investigating. It's strange as soon as we get rid of one problem in our lives, another one has to come. Why can't we just have peace?" Taehyung complained, dragging himself towards the stairs.

Footsteps could be heard at the front door. They got closer and closer as I noticed Jin had made it back home.

"Lydia!" Jin cheered. "Oh, how I've missed you." He side hugged me and knelt down to Rosa's level and kissed her on the forehead.

"I missed you too, princess."

Jin was great with Rosa, It made me think of how good of a father he would have been to Hayley when she was younger if he was in her life back then. He truly is one of a kind.

"I'll take her for a while. Hayley and Katherine are out with Yoongi right now, they won't be back until later on. Have you heard anything from Beth yet?" He asked.

I sadly shook my head. "Nothing yet, I'll try to call her again later," I sighed.

"I'm sure she's just busy, she'll be fine."

I nodded, handing Rosa over to Jin, and he soon vanished to go spend some time with her. Jungkook, Namjoon, and Taehyung walked downstairs. They were all dressed and ready to go.

"I won't be long." Jungkook said, kissing me goodbye. "We will be an hour. I'm sure the others will be back soon."

I watched them leave the front gates. I couldn't count how many times I've watched them walk out of these gates. Fear was all that was left in me. My thoughts wanted to control me. I was debating with myself... should I follow them?

I sighed, grabbing my jacket and rushed out of the house. What the hell am I doing? I should just stay where I was safe, but I never was safe here.

I looked over to see Taehyung jumping on Jungkook's back. The two boys were laughing as Jungkook started running over to Namjoon, who was ahead of them with Taehyung on his back.

I chuckled at their silliness and ran over to them. I watched Namjoon turn around and spotted me running over. Jungkook looked over at me and soon Taehyung stopped laughing and did the same thing.

But.

Their faces showed fear. They froze on the spot, not daring to look away.

I looked closely towards the three boys as I realised they were not looking at me, they were looking behind me.
