"What are you guys staring at?" I questioned.
Namjoon was the first one to snap out of it, as Jungkook and Taehyung looked dazed trying to peel their eyes off that one spot behind me. "Huh? Nothing, let's just go."
Namjoon nudged Taehyung and Jungkook and they soon followed him, "Come along if you want, but stay close." Namjoon said, looking over my shoulder for the final time before leading the way.
What was wrong?
The three boys spoke amongst themselves. I walked in my daydream capturing all of the memories I shared with this part of town.
I looked right to recognise where I actually was. Memories flooded my head of when Jungkook and I had that snowball fight. We were both soaked with the melted snow on us.
They were great memories, I missed it.
The further we walked, the darker it got. The sun was going down, and we were heading for a dark forest. What a perfect combination!
Once we made it to the forest, I noticed dug up dirt all over the place. Blood stains were splattered over trees that were covering the lumps of dirt.
"Is that where the bodies are?" Jungkook asked.
"Yeah, I buried them here." Namjoon sighed, kneeling down to look for anymore clues to tell us how this happened.
"But why? Why not the graveyard?" I questioned.
"I wanted them here because the graveyard is getting too full and I want to do a full inspection of this area with the bodies here." Namjoon answered truthfully.
"Yeah, you never know Lydia, they might come back to life for Halloween, oooh!" Taehyung made a ghost noise into my ear as I hit his shoulder.
"Shut up Taehyung!" I yelled.
"Don't be scared, nothing will happen to you!" Jungkook assured, I shook my head sighing I knew they were all messing with me but I couldn't take a joke today.
"I'm not scared." I lied. I didn't want them to think I feared absolutely everything, but I did. I was terrified to be here, especially next to freshly buried bodies in the middle of the forest at night.
The Moon was the only light source I was getting other than Taehyung's little flashlight he brought.
"I just don't get it..." I mumbled. "Why would a vampire kill a group of vampires?" Namjoon finally got up from crouching down, "Neither do I, but hopefully we find out before they kill someone else. There was no way a human could have done all of this, it's impossible."
"We just need to keep looking, I guess," Taehyung sighed.
Namjoon turned and headed for the way out. We all, one by one, started following him.
"Oooh" Taehyung again whispered into my ear.
"Taehyung stop!" I jumped, hitting him over the head this time.
"Tae stop scaring her," Namjoon chuckled.
Jungkook held my hand tightly. I never let go of it until we were out.
"Let's head home. Thank you for coming with me." Namjoon smiled at us all.
We all headed home at our own pace. Taehyung, Jungkook and I walked as a three and Namjoon walked a little behind, in his own thoughts.
Namjoon
I stopped for a second, watching them all walk a head of me. My instinct was telling me a while back, we weren't alone in the forest.
As I was leaving the older part of Dungrove the street light flickered. I looked down to see a silhouette next to it as white smoke appeared from behind the street light.
The shape of the shadow looked exactly like the figure we noticed behind Lydia. I just couldn't make out anything and it was annoying me that I couldn't.
I quickly walked towards the flickering lights. As soon as I reached it, nobody was there.
"What the?"
Was this a stupid mind game?
I backed away, unsure of what just happened, but I can definitely confirm that we were being watched but... how long have they been watching us for?
