I wake up next to Jaebum after the night we had. Lately, even though I've been enjoying my friend's company at night, I couldn't help to feel like something was missing. Or rather someone. The amazing night I had with Tae a few days ago really messed with my head. I'm guessing it's because we have so much sexual chemistry. And that's not even talking about how fun it is to be with him in general. I can't control myself and text him to see if he wants to come over.

- Again with the phone, Kook?

- Hey, I barely touched it this time!

- Not true. You checked it a hundred times.

- It's just... he's not answering. It's been a few days since he did...He must be busy, right?

- Gucci? Maybe he's busy, maybe he's in jail. Who knows?

- You and the guys should stop saying those things. If you spread those rumors no one will be his friend!

- ... Exactly.

- Don't be mean! Everyone deserves friends!

- Kook, he's crazy. He's scary, over protective of Jimin and before you defend him I think he ghosted you

- What? No he didn't. He's busy.

I try to believe my own words. Tae wouldn't ignore me out of nowhere. We're having an awesome friendship. Maybe Jaebum is jealous, that's it. He doesn't feel like arguing and after having lunch with me, we split ways. I have my day off for once and this strange feeling about Taehyung is starting to worry me a lot. I didn't think much about it this days since I was busy and I could only consider how awesome everything was. But now my mind has nothing else to focus on and I'm getting nervous.

I decide to drive my way up to Tae's house. I'm sure while Jimin works he must be there. After knocking on the door I don't even have to wait 10 seconds before it opens. Tae looks...weird. I mean he's as beautiful as always and the serious face is common on him but...I know something is off.

- Hey! Everything okay? I came by because you weren't answering my texts and I was getting worri-

- I was busy.

- Oh...Okay. Are you free now? Maybe we could hang out!

- I was actually about to leave.

- No, you weren't

- I know what my own plans are, Jeon

- Oh yeah? 'Cause you're wearing your pajamas. I don't think you're leaving anywhere with that

- This...Uhmm...This is called fashion.

I laugh out loud and he shows me a faint smile. However, a millisecond later he seems to stop himself. He looks mad at his own smile and happiness. What is going on? Before I can ask, he walks past me and bizarrely takes his bike to leave who knows where. He's really committed to that weird excuse not to be with me. I try not to pay attention to this feeling in my stomach and I simply go on with my day for now. When the night comes I'll have the chance to see him again at the races.

I'm not wrong. He comes to race and even wins with no effort! Jimin came to see him for support since he can't use his bike again yet. Even if Tae can see me from where he is, he doesn't come near me. Confused, I keep my eyes on him when Yugyeom sits by my side.

- Let me guess. You are so dumb you have no idea what happened.

- I don't understand. We were so...wait. Are you saying you know what's up with him, Yugyeomie?

- Of course I am. I have working braincells

- Hey! You're saying it like it's obvious!

- Think it through, bro. When did he start having this attitude towards you?

- Hmmm let's see...We had a great night, a great morning, we talked all day about our lives, we fucked like eight times, we kept talking, we played videogames, I told him about my family and he talked about his childhood, we went to the bar and then...Then he ignored me! It makes no sense

- You...You guys really shared a lot about each other that day

- Oh, it was awesome! Best day of my life so far hahaha But let's focus, Yugyeomie. I don't understand what went wrong

- Yeah. I wonder what happened that night where you changed your attention to Mark's mouth and left Tae on his own. Weird.

- Yeah, I don't...wait!

- You got it. Please tell you got it.

- Something must've happened while I was with Mark! One of the guys probably said something to annoy him! It happened before. I'll talk to Tae now!

-... You're so fucking dumb

I don't have the time to argue with him right now. I run my way up to Tae who's alone for the moment. While Jimin left him behind for a minute to go with another racer, I can finally have a talk with him. This time things are a little more clear in my head so I start with an apology.

- Hey, Tae...

- You again, Jeon? What now?

- I just came to say sorry

- Oh... Really? I mean... Don't worry. It's not your fault really. I was just a fucking idiot. I hoped things would be different for some reason

- Don't say that! You're not an idiot! It should've been different!

- I-It should?

His cheeks glow red and I start to feel better already. Good, I'm fixing it. I'm a genius!

- Of course. My friends shouldn't make you feel uncomfortable. I don't know what they said for you to react this way but next time you just gotta talk to me. I'll defend you, I promise!

-...That's what you think bothered me?

- I mean... isn't it?

-...Sure. That was the problem. Well, I'm glad we cleared that out. So now can be friends. Just friends. Maybe great friends. Yeah... I'm okay with that. It's better than nothing

- Oh, sweetie I wasn't gonna let you go that easily!

- I'll let it go but if you say another phrase like the one you just did, I'm killing you, your family and maybe your dog. Keep it friendly.

- Hahaha but then how would I get another night with you? Hahahaha

For a moment, I enjoy that I can relax with him again. He seemed a little defeated with our discussion but at the end there was a light atmosphere. One that ends as soon as I say those last words. In a second, his whole semblance changes and he seems pissed off.

- What the fuck did you just say?
