Moon POV

I woke up in the same position when I fell asleep. I checked my phone and saw it was 5:19 A.M. Hawk woke up after I shook him awake.

"Morning." He says in that deep morning voice I find so attractive.

"Good morning to you, too handsome." I whisper back, giving him a little peck on the lips.

"Don't go, stay a little longer."

"I can't, I don't want your parents to kill you because I like you alive. Plus, my parents are chill about a lot of stuff I do, but staying over at my boyfriend's house, they will totally freak out."

Hawk rolls his eyes and eventually lets me go. I change back into my clothes and get my things together. I give Hawk a final kiss goodbye and climb out the window. Luckily, I was wearing tennis shoes and not my heels. I walked a couple blocks to my car and drove back home. I play music to keep me awake. It was some 80's song I didn't know, but it made me think of Hawk. His taste in music is kind of old. But the music that he listens to is good, but not my favorite. The music kept me awake long enough for me to get home and sneak back into my room.

The Next Morning- Saturday

After I woke up, I drank a protein shake and then changed into some blue jeans and a black denim jacket over one of Hawk's shirts (I know it was kind of warm outside, but it looked good on me). It was a nice day, so I texted Sam and Yasmine to see if they wanted to hang out. Sam said she was hanging out with Miguel all day and Yasmine just said no and didn't want to hang out with me today (bitch). So I go to a beach side café and order a coffee. I'm browsing through Instagram until I feel someone wrap their arms around me.

I think that it's Hawk at first. But when I see whose hands were wrapped around me, I automatically know who it is.

"PIPER!" I jump up and hug her with a huge smile on my face.

She returns the hug and smiles. She lets go of me and sits down at the other side of the table. We start talking about her life in San Francisco until I ask her why she's here.

"Why are you here?!" I ask her, still excited that she's here.

"Well, I convinced my parents to let me stay for a couple months and do school online." She responds smiling.

"That can't be the only reason you're here. I know you Piper, you have that look in your eyes when you're hiding something."

Piper looks at me like a lost puppy dog. "Can't I just visit you without having a reason?" She asks innocently.

I stare at her intently until she finally cracks.

"The real reason that I'm here is because I want to get back together." She finally confesses.

I'm surprised that she wants to get back together. If I wasn't dating Hawk, I would consider it. Oh God, Hawk. This would break Piper's heart. If I tell Hawk, he'll flip out. I hate to lie to people, but until I can figure out a way to keep everyone happy, I have to lie to her.

"I'll think about it. Ok?"

"Ok, see you later." She gave me one final hug before walking off.

I drive home and try to FaceTime Sam. I needed to tell someone or else I might explode.

She picked up and saw my worried face.

"Moon, what's wrong?"

I take a deep breath and collect my thoughts before I tell her what's going on. "Piper's back in town and she wants to get back together. With Hawk and my history with her, I don't know what to do. What should I do?!"
