Secrets Reveled (Part 1)

Hawk POV

Moon and I have been dating for almost 2 weeks now. We decided to keep our relationship a secret until after the tournament, figuring that Cobras would go after her if they knew that we were back together. I told Moon about how Tory threatened me the last time we met and she understood that I didn't want her to get hurt. When I wasn't training, we would hang out with each other over at her house or at my house. I didn't want to go out on the off chance we would run into Cobras and start a fight. So we were hanging out over at her house after I got finished with training.

"So, you excited for the tournament?" Moon asked while she was getting a drink from the fridge.

"Yeah, but I hate waiting. I just want to go and win and get it over with." I answer lying on the couch.

"No fighting dirty, I don't want you to be disqualified again." She says as she sits down next to me.

"Yes ma'am." I said, remembering the rage I felt when I was disqualified in the semi-finals.

"Exactly what I wanted to hear." Moon said as she gave me a small peck on the lips.

After I left, I decided to surprise Moon with a picnic on the beach, so having my car was vital. I tried getting Moon to ride my motorcycle with me, but she told me there was no way in hell she would ever ride it. But I needed to do one thing first before I could start setting up for the picnic.

"What's up Rico?"

"What's up Hawk!" 

"Need a touchup on the Hawk. Change the color from red to purple."

"No problem."

I lay down on the chair and he starts changing the color of the mohawk on my back. Once that's done, I pay Rico his money and head home to dye my hair. I would miss the red, but every time I looked at it, I would remember what an ass I was in Cobra Kai. Plus, I thought Moon would like it since purple was her favorite color.

I bleach my hair then begin to add the purple dye to my hair. Once I finished, I looked at myself in the mirror, thinking how badass I look.

(6:00 PM)

I arrived at Moon's house and knocked on the door. She opened the door and I saw that she loved my new hair color. She also saw that I had some supplies in my car.

"So where are we going?" She asks in a flirtatious manner.

"Well, if we stay here, you'll never find out." I say with a smirk.

We got in the car and drove to the beach. The sun was still in the sky but would soon start to set, so I wanted to get there quickly.

Moon POV

After we got to the beach, I helped him get the supplies out of the car and set up on the beach. It was all my favorite foods for dinner plus some chocolates for dessert.

"This is the sweetest thing you have ever done for me!"

Hawk smiled and blushed a little bit, both in embarrassment and pride.

"I'm glad you love it."

Looking at him made me remember something I wanted to ask him for a long time.

"Hey, do you still have the tattoo you got for me?"

Hawk looked at me with a mix of surprise and shame. "Yes and no."

He then took off his shirt to show me a Grim Reaper tattoo where the Moon tattoo used to be.

"I kept the moon because I didn't forget how you made me feel, plus I thought it looked badass."

I decided to get something off my chest that I've been holding on to for a while. 

"While we're being honest, Piper and I got together because I couldn't date another guy because they couldn't make me feel special like you. When I met Piper, I thought she could fill that void in me, but she didn't. She made me feel happy but it wasn't the same."

"So why did you guys break up if you were happy with her?"

"She moved to San Francisco and we couldn't make a long distance relationship work, but we stayed in touch and agreed to stay friends." I said with a few tears escaping my eyes.

Hawk held me while I rested my head on his chest.

"It felt so good getting that off my chest. I'll miss her, but I'm glad that we're back together." I said.

"Me too. Hey, sun's getting low, should we head back?"

We packed up and we were about to leave when Hawk realized he left his phone on the beach and went to go get it. I had my air pods in listening to some pop music and sat in the car for a while until I realized that Hawk left 10 minutes ago and should be back by now.

I got out of the car and walked down to where we ate and was met with a horrifying sight.

"Hawk!!" I shouted and ran to him.

When I reached him, I saw he was unconscious. The rest of him looked horrible. His lip was busted and his left eye was turning purple. He had cuts on his chest and his right arm was bent at a funny angle. I called an ambulance and we rode to the hospital. The doctor called his parents and told them he had a cracked rib and a broken arm. I sat in the hallway crying until I heard a voice that confirmed my worst fear.

"Guess he should've watched his back"
