My Stolen Sweetheart

Chapter 1

" Aaj ka din bhi guzar gaya sweetheart, aapko gaye huye ek saal ho gaya hai lekin aaj bhi aapki itni yaad aati hai.. mujhe toh yeh bhi nahi pata ki aap kahan hoge, kya kar rahe hoge aur mujhe yaad kar rahe hoge yaa nahi.." said a girl wiping the tears flowing from her eyes.

She was standing near the window looking at the beautiful moon remembering somebody.
She picked up a photo frame from the side table, caressed it, kissed it and placed it on her chest. She sat on the bed and talked to the picture, she didn't remember when she drifted to sleep.

NEXT DAY

It was sharp 7am. The girl woke up due to the alarm clock. She got ready for her work, she didn't like to apply makeup but she had to, to hide those dark circles, those tear marks and swollen eyes and then left for  her workplace.

AT THE BUREAU:

She entered inside...

Girl: Good morning Sir!

Abhijeet: Good morning Purvi. Kesi ho??

Purvi: All good sir.

Daya: Kitni badal gayi hai na uss din ke baad yeh..

Nikhil: Sir but she needs to move on.
Hum sabhi jaante hai ki sab kuchh pehle jesa nahi ho sakta..

Abhijeet: Hum baat karenge Purvi se..

Suddenly DCP Chitrole enters along with ACP.

Daya: Yeh kyu pakane aaya hai??

Nikhil: Subah subah darshan ho gaye sir..aaj ka din toh gaya..

Abhijeet laughed under his throat.
DCP: Aye kis baat pe khee khee kar rahe ho sab?

Pankaj: Arey sir kuchh nahi..kahiye kyu darshan diye aapne..??

DCP: Kuchh new officers aane wale hai aaj..

ACP (tensed) :  Abhijeet suno jaldi se  Purvi ko bulao mujhe kuchh important baat karni hai usse..

Abhi called Purvi, as she was in the locker room.

ACP was about to talk to her, when they heard some voices..

Voice 1 : Senior inspector Dushyant reporting on duty sir.

Voice 2: Inspector Ishita reporting on duty sir!!

Voice 3: Sub inspector Rhea reporting on duty sir!!

Voice 4 : Senior inspector Kavin  reporting on duty sir!!

Hearing kavin's voice, everybody was shocked as well as happy.

Abhijeet: K..Kavin..

Purvi was startled, she stood at her place..as if time stopped..

Daya (tapping her shoulder): Purvi..

Purvi (coming to her senses): y..yes sir.
She suddenly ran towards Kavin and hugged him tightly.
He was startled at her sudden act, he didn't hug her back but neither did he push her away..

Kavin (nervous): Ex... excuse me miss..

Purvi (remembering something): Ahh..I am sorry sir..woh..woh..

Kavin: Woh??

ACP: Ohh shayad usse kisi ki yaad aa gayi hogi..haina Purvi (signalling something to her)

Purvi: haa sir..I am sorry..

Kavin: Ohh it's alright..miss..

Purvi (offering her hand towards him): Inspector Purvi...

Kavin (accepting her hand for handshake): Purvi... interesting...yeh naam kahin suna suna lag raha hai..

Suddenly his head started spinning..
He held his head, Purvi got tensed, she got a hold of him.

Purvi: Pankaj chair leke aao..
She helped him settle down..

Rhea: Kavu baby! Are you alright??

Kavin: Yes..

Purvi brought a glass of water for him, but listening Rhea say him baby..she felt uncomfortable..

Rhea took the glass from her hand..
Rhea : Ma'am it's okay main de dungi..

Purvi's eyes brimmed up with tears. She left for her cabin.
Dushyant (whispering to Ishita): Iss Rhea ko isse yahan baby bolna zaroori tha??

Ishita: Kya kar sakte hai baby..Aahh..I mean sir..

Dushyant was shocked but he literally felt good when she called him baby.. although by mistake.

Ishita: Sir mujhe yeh bilkul bhi nahi pasand but pata nahi Kavin sir ko kya interest hai isme..chudail..

Nikhil noticed them murmuring..
Nikhil: Kya baatein ho rahi hai mujhe bhi bata do??

Ishita: Kuchh nahi sir..

Dushyant: Kuchh nahi..

ACP noticed all this and felt bad.
ACP: Ab sabka Mel milap ho gaya ho toh kaam karo..
Tum bhi Rhea...Kavin apna khayal rakh sakta hai..aur yahan yeh babu shona nahi chalega..

Kavin: Sorry sir..

Rhea: Kyu sorry bol rahe ho..?
Tum mere baby nahi ho??

Kavin: Haa but sir is elder than us..agar yahan allowed nahi hai toh kuchh esa bolne ki zaroorat nahi hai..okay??

Rhea: Okay baby...ahh I mean kavin..

Abhijeet: Rhea.. right???

Rhea: Yes sir.

Abhijeet: Woh tumse senior hai call him sir..

Rhea: Sir!
Kavin (pov): Pata nahi woh Purvi ko dekh kar kuchh ajeeb sa feel hua..jese usse bahut pehle se jaanta hu...usne jab hug kiya, tab bhi kuchh alag sa feel hua..it may sound crazy but sukoon mila uske choone se..jo pichle ek saal se nahi mila shayad...

Rhea: Sir??

Kavin: Hmm..

Rhea: kahan kho gye??

Kavin: Kahin nahi..
And he left for his cabin. His cabin was right in front of Purvi..
He smiled at her but she was busy in her work..so he didn't disturb her..
He started working.

Purvi (pov): Aap wapas toh aa gaye  yahan but aap toh kisi se pyaar karne lage hai..kyu Kv..??
