I woke up, did my morning routine, then wore casual clothing. Considering the fact that I was trying to get into Gotham Academy. I apparently wasn't smart enough to even write out their stupid tests so, I hacked into there computers and simply added myself there as one of the names that were accepted. There firewalls were poor. Any who my parents were called and were asked to submit my test, guess who answered that call, I did. I told them that we lost it because we were so careless. And they let me retake it. I was walking to the center so that I could write out my test. I reached and I found a blonde girl there too.

We were dressing in literally the same things but different colours. High ponytail, she's blonde, my hair is black bluish, green leather vest, mine was blue, and it showed some skin at the waist just like hers, her jeans were leather and brown, mine were black and leather, and we were wearing the same type of black combat boots. Her eyes are emerald green and mine are crystal white, plus we both have a leather jackets of the same type but mine is black and hers is brown. And she looked like trouble. But again, don't we all? She looked like she was being chewed at by the teacher for her attire.

I stood next to her and greeted the female teacher. She said, "You look like a different coloured version of her, teenagers of these days." I replied like as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, "The dressing code of everyone who is supposed to enter this building is casual, the sign says to dress casually, not sluttily. And they say that adults could read." The teacher looked like she was gonna scream at us but she closed her eyes, big mistake lady, Rule no.2 of Gotham Street, never take your eyes off your prey. I got the Blonde girl's arm and dragged her to the entrance where we entered and she asked while removing her hand from mine, "Dude, what the hell?"

I said, "You looked like you needed help getting out of that." She replied, "She is gonna be our class teacher for the whole time we'll be studying at Gotham Academy, if we pass this test." I corrected her and said, "When we pass this test." She said, "Right. Who even are you?" I replied, "Right, sorry. My name is Crystal Ambers." I held out my hand to shake her hand. And she just rolled her eyes but shook my hand anyway. She said, "Artemis Crock." I smiled a little bit then the usher came and told us to enter quickly. We entered the room which had like, only seven people but we were so far apart in order to apparently not cheat.

I sat down and they gave us the papers. The paper was relatively fair, so I wrote down the answers then checked the time. We had 2 and a half hours to go. I never knew this was gonna happen or else I would have just written this in the last half hour. I began tapping my pencil on the desk. I could feel and hear everyone's annoyance towards me but could you blame me. I was bored. Extremely. At this rate, I'd be dead in the next five minutes. I raised my hand and an usher was at my side so I asked, "Can I please hand in my paper and go?" He said, "Sure, if you've finished." I gladly almost gave it to him but realised that the guy who served us the papers said he'd collect them and this guy isn't him. I said, "On second thought, maybe I should go through the work first." He nodded with an irritated smile and left. So, I know that I knew everything in this paper but, I have to fail something.

I only changed two answers. So that they could be purposefully wrong. I finished and went back to tapping my pencil until the usher who served us the papers came to get them. I gave mine and he told us to leave and wait for feedback from our homes. Cool. I got my stuff and put them in my cute pencil bag that I had in my jacket and put it in the jacket then tied the jacket around my waist. I walked out last and found Artemis about to leave. I said, "Artemis, wait up." She replied, "Away from here. You were annoying the crap out of people when tapping your pencil for two and a half hours, then disturbing the usher. So please don't follow me."

I smiled and said, "Nope, too late." She had her jacket on and grumbled under her breath then began walking away. I said, "Wait. If we're going to be new to school on the same day, we might as well get acquainted and whatevs." She turned around and smiled and said, "When, not if." We went and bought some ice cream and then we ran into a couple of thugs, we beat them up, yeah, I pickpocketed all of them. You say that 'I'm just as bad as them', I say 'easy money'. So, you can suck it.

We said our goodbyes and then I returned home. My so called parents are still on their business trip. So, I have the whole place to myself, it's not as big as a mansion, it's more of a ridiculously large but not too large bungalow. And it's empty, so, I went to my hideout. It's a good thing it's almost night time. I can finally be Panther. And cause some chaos and maybe give some of the money I stole from the thugs to some of the street kids in Crime Alley. I'm so popular there. But I can't fulfill most of their wishes. Any who, leaving that part aside for later.

Today, I plan to just watch chaos unfold. I'll seat on top of a rooftop and just eat a bagel while watching. You won't believe how much I've learnt from just watching and listening closely to what they say.
