The pain escalated so quickly that within a matter of seconds my vision went black. Then suddenly pictures and memories of Starfire and Robin flashed into my mind. The moment they first kissed in Japan flashed by and in a second it changed to the fiery landscape of the end of the world. I saw my friends fighting their inner demons and could hear Nightwing's voice echo "You're nothing but a demon" over and over again. I could hear Beast Boy calling me weird and creepy and saw the moment Cyborg screamed at me for crashing the T-car the first time I drove it. All that I could seem to think about was negative thoughts and memories.

I opened my eyes and could see red. I stood and was no longer in pain but rather felt more powerful than I had in years. I saw the fight take place before me. I would start with the weak one. I walked over to Beast Boy who had just transformed from a gorilla.

"Hey Rae, you okay?" He asked out of breath. I raised my hand, his body encased in a black aura as I levitated up to his height. I knew the others were paying attention to my actions.

"I've never felt better." I spoke and it sounded like there were hundreds of me. I gave him a dark smile as he looked at me nervously. "Raven put me down." He spoke firmly but I could sense his fear. I laughed at his fake courage.

"I'd rather have the beast come out and play." I smiled as I threw him at the furthest wall. I heard him crash and groan in pain but did not sense him get up. I looked down and ducked just in time as Starfire aimed a starbolt at me.

"Friend Raven do not make me do this." She said warily. I could see Cyborg and Nightwing in the corner of my eye still fighting Slade. I just needed to take them down to let him escape.

"You are not my friend." I hissed as I sent a blast of black energy at her at the same time she sent a blast at me. I struggled as our powers clashed together and pushed her back into the window.

"Raven I am telling you to stop." She yelled, sounding angrier. I laughed and pushed back harder sending her through the window and into the bay outside. I smirked as I watched the green light fade, only to be sent out of the air due to Cyborg's canon blaster.

I landed with a thud but got up quickly to meet Cyborg aiming the canon at my head. I turned my head in a smile "Come on Cy. You know you wouldn't do it" I said. He looked at me with anger and turned to look at Nightwing who had just landed on the floor from one of Slade's kicks. I took the opportunity to bring a crate right over his body and let it break on top of him. I saw Slade wave at me as he ran out of the pier. "Raven do not make me do this." Cyborg yelled. I laughed and raised my hands in mock defeat.

"Alright, I won't make you do anything." I smiled as sweetly as I could manage. I looked over to Nightwing who was getting up and brushing off broken pieces of the crate. "I'll make him do it instead." I said pointing at Nightwing as he looked up at me. I charged toward him and caught him by surprise. We punched and kicked and dodged and when I had had enough fun, I picked him up with my powers. I was about to throw him over to where Beast Boy was currently lying but was knocked out of the air by Cyborg who had tackled me to the ground. I knew I was stronger and tried my best to rise up, but when Nightwing hit the floor he too came over to restrain me.

"Raven it's us. We're your friends. Why are you doing this?" Nightwing asked as he pinned my left arm and leg to the floor. I laughed. "You are not my friends. You abandoned me. You all left me knowing I was alone. No one visited. You barely called! You were never my friends. Who would ever want to be friends with me?" I hissed, my voice echoing loudly throughout the abandoned warehouse. I saw the two boys look at each other and watched them nod.
