Chapter Seven

Cassandra's Pov - 17 Years Old

"I want to ruin her life." Katrina stated as she looked into the mirror and twirled a strand of her luscious red hair and tucked it behind her ear.

I perked up with confusion as I fixed my lip gloss.

"Whose?"

"Britney Everett's"

I rolled my eyes as I looked at her with annoyance.

"I know this is because she found out you tried to fuck her boyfriend, but is this necessary?"

It wasn't even Britney's fault.

I studied her intently to see her reaction.

She stiffened up as she balled her fists. Her hands . . . they were so red?

Was she embarassed because Britney's boyfriend didn't want to cheat on Britney with Katrina or was it because she just wanted to cause some drama?

She looked at me with a dangerous gleam in her eye.

"Yeah." She stated in a tone that indicated finality.

"I don't like her. So I'm going to ruin her."

"You in or no?" She firmly questioned me.

I hesitated not wanting to be a part of something completely absurd but I gave in ultimately and nodded.

I questioned myself a hundred times before I spoke again.

"What are you going to do to her?"

A hatred filled look came over her until she schooled her expression into a nonchalant one and answered me with a dark smile.

"First, I'm going to burn her hair off. Secondly, leave her with no friends to run and hide behind. Hurt her in the two areas she's confident about. Her looks and her status."

I skeptically asked her how she was going to get rid of her friends.

"I did a little digging and she's gotten around alright." She quipped with a smirk.

Okay so she's definitely thought this through.

"Listen you know I wouldn't give a second thought about this if it wasn't one of our friends but -"

"She was never my friend Cassandra. I'm going easy on her to be honest. She's your friend and if you want out, you're free to go. Just don't ruin my plan."

"Fine but if this backfires - "

"Chill, I won't say you were involved, I'll take the damn blame so stop whining."

I grimaced as I saw her close herself off even more than she normally did.

That wasn't my intention but I couldn't exactly fully have her back in this shít.

I was seriously betraying one friend for another. Should I even go along with this?

I uncomfortably squirmed as I bit my tongue and kept my thoughts to myself.

We both walked out of the bathroom and I saw my group of girls standing near the lockers.

Katrina immediately noticed them and chose to clearly ignore everyone around us.

"I'm doing this today. You in?"

"Let me just ask the girls - "

"Hurry up then." She interrupted me halfway through my sentence.
