My mind was blank; looking down the ground was getting closer, and closer, and closer. Then my mind came back and I realized that I was clenching the pill. I fumbled with it for a moment trying to get it in my mouth, and then it slipped!

I panicked, and anxiety kicked in, I flailed and suddenly I slammed into a tree, which knocked the wind out of me, I bounced backwards, and fell directly down.

“Splash”

I tried to breath, but nothing but water entered my lungs, my eyes shot open and I realized I was at the bottom of a pond, and drowning. I quickly tried to get up and I pushed myself up and to the surface. I got to the surface and took a deep breath of air, I fell back under, and after realizing that I couldn’t get back up I quickly pushed myself of an underwater tree toward the shore.

I got to the shore and pulled myself up and out of the water and unto the ground. I rolled onto my back to see Blake standing before me.

“Thanks for the help,” I said angrily.

“I see you didn’t use this,” she said as she raised her hand holding the pill.

“How did you find that?”

She looked at me blankly, “Are you and idiot, this is a new one”

“Oh… yeah,” I stood up and realized my clothes were ripped and soaked. “So what now?” I asked.

“Complete your mission,” she said as she turned around.

“Alright, were do I go?”

“Ugh, just go that way, also,” she said, pointed, and then turned to look at me, “I’m leaving,” then vanished.

“Wait! Wait, where did you go, what?” I said looking around confused

I sighed, and then proceeded to go in the direction that Blake told me to go. I walked for about 20 minutes, and then I could hear, what sounded like metal hitting metal again and again, then a scream of what sounded like a young man. A panicked whimper escaped from me, and I quickly covered my mouth. I turned around, and bumped into something. I looked up and a face, he was a male… tall, no more than 5,9” and was wearing a greyish looking military looking outfit. I stepped backwards and noticed there were four of them. The one in the front unsheathed he sword and took a step forwards. He pointed his sword at me and spoke, “Put your hands were I can see them!”

I raised my hands, then all of the sudden something whizzed past my head, and then the man in the front collapsed! I screamed and covered my mouth. They all took out there weapons and started looking while one pointed a gun at me! He was just about to pull the trigger when he looked up. I heard I loud noise and he dropped dead. He was shot. The three remaining me all looked up, as a women dressed in black jumped in the middle of them. She immediately stabbed one then took out the rest. As the last body fell she spoke, “you were supposed to kill them!” she said then walked off.

I began to follow Blake. “I guess I should say thanks.”

She continued to walk forwards without a word. We then came to an opening in the forest with a large circle in the middle, in the circle there were some neatly placed swords, bows and more. They were all completely painted gold, and were smaller than if they were real. “Take one, of your choice,” she commanded.

I walked over to the platform; the weapons were along the edge of the circle with some missing. I picked up a small dagger and pocketed it.

“Okay, what now?” I asked Blake.

“You now need to get to Cypress,” she said then turned to look at me, “also please stop asking Questions.” She finished as the fiery red head came running at full speed from the tree lines. Blake turned around just in time to see she was being chased by ten of the men I encountered in the forest.  She then slammed her left foot on the ground spun around as she pulled out a dagger, she threw the dagger at the nearest man and he fell dead. She quickly pulled out her Sword and killed two more as Blake went running to join the fight. She entered by tackling a man and stabbing him. One of the solders went to attack Blake but the fiery one stabbed him. When the last one fell, Blake looked at me angrily.

“Thanks for the help!” the fiery one yelled.

I felt bad for not helping but what was I to do, I don’t know how to fight. As I was thinking some more students began to come through the tree line and grabbing relics. Among them where the rest of the team. I glared at the new one for a bit longer than I should of. They began to walk towards me during conversation. I started to walk with the rest of the students, but close enough so I could hear the team speak.

“It is strange that these men are all wearing the same outfit, so that leads me to believe that they are more organized than just some rag tag group of misfits,” The Japanese one said.

“I agree, but who could they be and why are they attacking a Cypress Academy test?” The red head asked.

“It’s possible that they are the Sominkia, they usually seem interested in military affairs.” Blake said.

“You bring up a good point as to whom, but why is still a question. We should bring this up to the professor.” The red head said.

“I would like to get to Cypress as soon as possible so we…” Blake started to say but was unable to finish as a man shouted something.

I turned around just in time to see more of those men attacking. The students seemed to hold them of just fine but Shadow team decided to come up with a plan.
