Chapter 6

POV Blake

            As we all arrived at Cypress, Dawn spoke to Nathen, Sun-Ru and I. “We need to let Wilson know.”

“We also need to find out who these people are, and why they attacked,” Sun-Ru said.

We entered the school and quickly made our way to Wilson’s office.

 “Okay so our first lead is the Sominkia, and that is quite possible.” I said as Wilsons office was coming up.

“But that still leaves out a motive, I mean why attack a school? And their attire is different from what I’ve seen.”

 “That is true, but we also haven’t seen them in five years, so that’s a lot of room for change.” I responded.

 “True, and they could be trying to stop the CNSC from recruiting anymore people,” I remarked.

“That does make sense. Nathen can you go see if any other academies have been attacked?” Dawn said.

“Sure, be right back.” He said then ran towards communications.

“In the meantime, let’s go see Professor Wilson,” Dawn said.

We ran towards his office and then buzzed him. “Wilson we need to speak to you urgently!” I said though the comms.

 “Alright enter.” His voice then ended with static.

We entered the room to Wilson sitting at his desk writing something. “Sir, there is a bit of a situation,” I said.

“I know about the attack. I contacted General McCarthy, he said that they are most likely just local insurrection, and that we shouldn’t worry,” he said.

“Sir with all due respect, they seem to be more corodenated that a locol insurrection would. We believe that they are the Sominkia.” Dawn said with a raised voice.

“I agree with that, but the military won’t send any troops until they think that we are in danger, so for the time being you are our guardians.”

“But sir our orders are to-“ I tried to say.

 “You we also left under my command so you will do as I say!” he said sternly at me.

“Yes sir,” I said defeated.

We left his office and met back up with Nathen.

“No other academies have been attacked just ours.” Nathen said.

“That’s a little strange,” Dawn said, “But we can’t come to any solid conclusions just yet, we could just be the first.”

“Agreed. What did Wilson have to say?” Nathen asked

“He already knew about the attack and contacted General McCarthy. McCarthy said that they are most likely just local militia, and not to worry. Wilson also said we are the front line defences because he believes that it’s the Sominkia.” I stated.

“Great,” Nathen said less than amused.
