Void Of Lies

I was in a black....void? I kept hearing faint voices and screams. Choosing to ignore them, there was one specific voice that spoke louder than the rest. "If I do, will you smile? I know it's stupid to ask but I've never seen you smile." It was me talking to Diluc? I started to run into the void and the darker it got, the voices began to get louder. I passed out, but when I woke up to a bright light shining in the void, there was someone beside me. Seeing brown hair and assuming it was Xiao, I shook him a bit to hopefully to awake him and ask what's going on. But it never happened. Xiao took one glance at me and glared. "Who the hell are you and why are you waking me up?" He said with a snarky tone. I looked at him for a second, stood up, and ran away with my fists clenched. I heard a quiet 'W-wait!' but I ignored it. "I need help. I don't want to be here." I would whisper to myself. I saw something...it was another person! They were wearing a red shirt and sweatpants. "H-hey! Can you tell me what's happening?" I shouted as I got near the mysterious......Diluc? "You left me here all alone! I've been waiting and hoping for you to help ME but you're too focused on yourself!" I could feel the venom in every word he said as I backed away. I was scared, he came closer to my face and said these words. "I hate you. And I would never talk to someone like you ever again." It looked like he was straining himself. Was he lying? I saw that his eyes were red and puffy. His veins were very noticeable in his neck and hands considering that he was clenching his fists. It probably was out of anger and frustration. "Diluc-" I was cut off in an instant by him. "Don't 'Diluc.' me! Why can't you understand that I have feelings too? I can't always help you, okay? I'm my own person too, I try to help you but some things I just can't understand." Diluc started to break down and curl up into a ball. He wasn't crying, I heard no sniffling, but either way, he's obviously not okay. "Am I allowed to touch you?" I asked because I didn't want to touch him without his permission. "Do what you want, I don't care." he shrugged it off while sighing, I sat behind him and hugged the red head's waist. He slightly relaxed, touched his warm hands with my cold ones, and held them. It was nice for a moment until I heard quiet laughter, It was from Diluc. He took a glance at me and told me: "You do realize that this'll never happen, right? You're gonna be stuck here with me, in this nightmare, for the rest of your life." He fully turned around and climbed on top of me with a devilish smirk. I was in a state of shock to where I couldn't speak. He placed his long slender hands around my throat and squeezed as hard as he could. I was trying to gasp for air but he picked my head up and slammed it into the ground, making my vision slightly fuzzy, he kept doing this until I felt a warm and wet liquid on the back of my head. All I saw was little black dots everywhere taking up most of my sight, only for the last thing I see to be a wide smile and tears streaming down Diluc's face.
