Newsies As....

Things that have happened at work.

Race: moving a ladder with a bucket of paint still on it through a doorway, getting it caught on the tarp, and spilling the paint on the carpet (thank goodness they're putting wood flooring over it the stain would not come up)

Jack: not bothering to get a paper towel to clean up excess paint on the wall or floor and uses his hands or shirt. He ends up with paint all over his legs from wiping his paint covered hands on them.

Albert: runs around putting paint on people

Les: covers somebody's lanyard in painting tape

Davey: scolding Les for covering someone's lanyard in painting tape

Jojo: forgetting to clock back in after lunch break

Romeo: ends up fingerprinting the wall during touch-up because the paintbrushes are too thick and he's too lazy to get tape

Elmer: sits in the sink to finish painting the counter because his partner painted the area in front and he didn't want to mess it up by leaning over it; still ends up getting a two inch thick line of paint across the back his shorts

Mush: tries to paint a wall with a paintbrush and is halfway done before his painting partner tells him they'll use rollers

Wow what's this an update whoda thunk

Seriously though, I haven't really been on this account for a while for any of my fics and I'm sorry about that. I'm just getting into other fandoms and doing other things, and even if I'm still in an old fandom I just may not really be into writing a fic about it anymore. This book may or may not be permanently coming to an end in the near future. I guess we'll see.

Also- I was the one who did all but one of those things. Bet you can guess which one.

I've had this job for three days.

In my defense, Day 1 went on after weightlifting, Day 2 went on after cross country, and nothing worth noting went on in Day 3 besides getting paint on my legs.
