Chapter 40 - Pool

(Y/n) POV

-Flashback-

"Wait, so we're not supposed to take any long trips over summer vacation?", Ochaco asked.

"Yeah. Apparently, that's what the school said", Kyoka replied.

"How unfortunate, I was supposed to spend several weeks touring Venice with my parents," Momo said.

"I know, right. My family was going to tour through the Philippines," I added.

"What are your lives?!" Ocahco questioned as she fell to the floor.

"AAHHH! And I just bought like a bajillion new swimsuits!" Mina whined.

"Well turns out that's what happens when your class is attacked by the league of villains," Kyoka said.

"I want to do something. I don't want to spend my whole summer bored!" Mina continued to gripe.

"Hey, doesn't that school have a pool? Why don't we use it?" I asked.

"Good idea! I bet we can talk the teachers into letting us use it. Ribbit", Tsu said.

"That sounds way better than being cooped up in my room all summer," Mina praised.

"Leave it to me! I'll start working on a formal proposal right away!" Momo cheered.

-Present Day-

I arrived at UA and saw Momo and Kyoka waiting. "Hey, guys!" I said.

"Hello (Y/n)," Momo replied.

"What's up?" Kyoka said.

"How's your summer going?" I asked.

"Good-"

"HEY! EVERYONE!" Mina yelled. "HOW'S IT GOING!?"

Not long after, Ochaco and Tsu came along, and we headed inside the changing rooms.

We start changing, and Mina signed, "I wish we could have brought your swimsuits. I just bought so many".

"Sorry, Mina. It's school policy", Kyoka said.

We all finish training and head out to the pool. When we get outside, we see some of the guys stretching and chatting. They greet us, and we decide to do some stretches as a group.

While we did that, we saw two people running out of the boy's dressing room. Denki and Mineta run towards us at top speeds with drool coming out of their mouths, but Iida stops them once they get leave the doors, "There you are, slowpokes!"

"No! No! No! What the heck are you guys doing here?" Mineta whined.

"Since we're doing endurance training at the pool, I messaged everyone to see if they wanted to come with us."

"You did what? Now all our plans are ruined".

"Don't lose hope yet. There will definitely still be girls splashing around the water".

They dramatically turned their heads to us, and Tsu greeted them, "Oh, hey. Hi, Mineta".

"I didn't know you would be here," Kyoka added.

Denki turned away, looking defeated, "I can't believe there's not a single bikini. Foiled again."

"You know school suits are still pretty hot."

"Have some standards, dude."

"Kaminari. Mineta. Nice work. I'm proud of you for suggesting more training. You're an asset to our class. Let me thank you. Now, don't just sit there; it's time to come sweat with us".
