Chapter 41 - Please Don't Make Me Go

I finished packing my stuff and was about to head to school. As I leave the house, Milo rubbed up against my leg and stared at me with sad eyes, "Sorry, Milo, I have to go. David will be coming over to feed you and let you out." He pushed himself closer to me, "It's only for a week. Then we will hang all day when I come back!" He finally walked away and sat near the door while watched me leave.

I arrived at school and saw that half my class was already there. I walk over to Ochaco, who was excitedly looking around. We happily chat as more of our class showed up.

Finally, everyone was here, and Mr. Aizawa started talking to the class, "Now that you have finished your first semester at UA High, it's time for summer vacation to officially begin. However, don't think these will be months of rest for you heroes in the making. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limits you're aiming to become plus ultra."

"Yes, sir!"

With that, he finished his speech, and we began to talk with each other. "I'm so psyched! I've been looking forward to this camp all semester!", Ochaco said to Midoryia and me.

"Oh yeah, it's definitely close, huh?" Midoryia said.

"Yeah, I'm super excited!" I added.

Then a looked of realization came into her face. Her face turned bright red, and she ran off and started shouting, LET'S HERE IT FOR CAMP! CAMP! CAMP!" that Denki and Mina joined in on the chant.

What the heck was that? Why did she run off like that, and why was her face red?... Could she like Midoyria? They're always hanging out together.

Then I heard an annoying voice from behind me say, "I heard some of the class is taking extra courses! Which is funny because you're supposed to be so much better than my class! You all must be walloping in shame!-" Then Kendo slapped him on the back of the neck, knocking him out while apologizing for his rude behavior.

Monoma.

"Oh, the rest of class B," Midoryia said.

"It's nice to see you outside the sports festival. I guess now we're not technically rivals," one lizard-like-looking girl said.

"Time to get on the bus!" Kendo shouted, causing the rest of her class to follow her.

I heard Mineta ramble from behind me, "The girls from class 1A and 1B!? It's like a buffet of bombshells."

"Dude, get yourself together. For real," Kirishima said to Mineta.

"Attention, Class A, our bus is here everyone, line up in seating order," Iida shouted.

We all lined up, and we headed to our seats. I was seated next to Mina at the front, across from Kirishima and Denki.

The buses started, and Mr. Aizawa says, "Here's the deal, we'll be on this bus for about an hour before our first stop. Make sure you stay focused.-"

"Why aren't we blasting some music!" Denki shouted, cutting Mr. Aizawa off.

"NO ONE SHOULD BE STANDING! THAT IS A SAFETY HAZARD! PLEASE SAY SEATED!" Iida yelled.

"Why do I bother? Well, I guess this is the only time they'll have to fool around." Mr. Aizawa mumbled.

What? But before I could think about what that meant, Mina started to talking to me.

The first hour of our trip was peaceful, with everyone chatting, making it very hard to hear anyone that wasn't right next to you. We got off the bus at the first rest area, and we all filed off. "Finally, I needed off that bus!" Denki cheers.
