Neji and I stood in there hiding and waiting for the perfect moment to distract the rest of the guards. All this while Tenten decided to leave and made a call of help.

"Like old times?" I said to Neji.

The Hyuga smirked. "Like old times."

Then out of the blue we appeared and started knocking each guard down. It all went well at first but then they started out number us.

And unfortunately we weren’t the young, athletic kids we used to be.

"Great, now what?" Neji said as we stood back to back trying to defend ourselves from them.

"You better stop the show now boys" said a female voice appearing from behind the guards. "Do it or she dies."

Neji's eyes widened as two of the guards appeared carrying Tenten against her will. She had bruises and her mouth had traces of blood. However her eyes showed a mix of rage and fierceness towards the redhead.

Naruto laughed to himself. "Why am I not surprised you had something to do with this dattebayo?"

"LET HER GO!!" Neji said as he tried to charge against her but it was useless since the guards managed to capture us.

"You guys are so pathetic." Karin said as she yawned.

"Why you do this?" Tenten managed to ask.

"Ah it's simple." Said Menma as he approached us with Hanabi and Himawari. "I don't break promises brother, and everyone’s got a price so..."

"Let me go!" Himawari said as she tried to break free from him, making the Dark haired man roll his eyes in annoyance and give her away to one of the guards.

"Seriously you should educate her better brother. Maybe I'll teach her some of my ways to make her do as I say... Perhaps, she'll become a fine member of our family.." he said with a smirk.

"You..." I said in rage as I noticed that he was carrying my daughter. "Don't you dare lay a hand on her!"

"My, my how sweet is to see you like this. Such desperation, such madness..." he said as he laughed.

"It's incredible how you managed to make this work. Too bad more people got involved in this." Hanabi said. "What a shame Neji nii-san. How did you ended up like this?"

"What's the meaning of this Hanabi?!? She’s your niece! She has your blood! Why you want to harm her?!?!"

"Oh please Neji don't act like that. This is just business. If you want to get to the top, some sacrifices must be made." Hanabi said as she signaled to some guards to make Tenten go beside Neji and point the guns to their heads.

"Papa!" Himawari screamed.

"Hanabi you can't do this!" Neji said as he realized that they were going to kill her. "If this is just to gain the lead of the clan and the company just take it, but you don't have to harm us!"

"You're going too far Menma! Look, it's not my fault she didn't wanted you back then. Her heart wasn't yours in the first place!"

"And look how you took care of her! You killed her!" Menma screamed in front of me in rage. "I told you brother, I never break promises. Once I'm done with all of you, your little daughter will be next."

I saw the look in his eyes. It was terrifying. He wasn't the Menma I once knew, he was different. He didn't cared that I was his brother, or that Himawari was his niece. He was blinded by revenge...

...and hatred.

"And when that happens, I will get my part. My father will have no choice but to set me up as the main heir of the family."

"The rest is just easy money." Menma said. "You should’ve stayed with me in the first place, maybe I would've sparred your little sunflower's life."

"Enough, can we just finish them off?" Karin asked in annoyance. "We have them and the kid so let's go!"

"Set them up" Hanabi said. "Prepare the Uchiha for the crime scene."

"Crime scene?!?!" Tenten said. "What did you do to Sasuke?!"

"Nothing, just helping him become the star of the show after you're dead." Menma said with a smirk as Tenten's body trembled.

Neji saw how she trembled and his inner self panicked. They were gonna kill him. This was it. There was knowhere else to run.

The placed the three of them in line and covered their faces with dark bags. The last thing I saw was Himawari's tears rolling down her face. I closed my eyes, regretting the moment she had to see this.

"I love you Himawari!" I screamed

Meanwhile, Neji had a lot in his mind. Her cousin was going to kill him for money. For the clan's heritage. On top of that Tenten got in trouble.

He regretted the moment he let his life get controlled by the clan's desires. He wished that things could've turned different. That maybe, he could've stood up against the clan members to fight for the love he felt for her. The love that he still feels for her.

"Tenten, I don’t know if you can hear me but you have to know.....you have to know that you're the best thing that ever happened to me. And that I'm sorry for everything that happened between us." He said loud enough for everyone to hear.

And then some gun shots got heard.
