'Condition? She has a condition?'

Menma kept thinking about that the whole day after meeting Hanabi at her office. Somehow, he liked the idea of winning against his brother but he felt weird. He didn't know if he should be happy for Hanabi or himself.

It was a feeling he didn't knew how to describe.

"Let me go!" She screamed as he entered the room with a plate of food for her. She jumped and ran towards one corner of the room.

He placed the plate on a small table. "I'm not gonna hurt you. Here..."

"I'm not hungry!" She said.

"You didn't ate your breakfast this morning. You must be starving." He replied.

"I prefer that than eat poisoned food!"

"What? Why the hell would I poison your food?"

"I don't know, you're the criminal here.."

"You think I'm like that? Hell nah, those days are long gone. I'm at a whole new level."

"By kidnapping children?"

He sighed, trying not to lose it. "Making business. Business that brings me lots of money."

"But your girlfriend likes to kidnap children."

"She's.....look girl are you gonna eat or not?!?! Because I'm hungry so if you don’t wanna-"

"Eat it first."

Menma stared at Himawari in shock. He wasn't gonna obey a little girl. He is one of the most wanted and prestigious criminals Konohagakure has ever known. He has a reputation! He may have gone to jail a few times thanks to a certain Uchiha, but obeying a little girl to eat the food first than her?!

"No" he replied.

"Then I won't eat." She said while crossing her arms.

"Then starve."

"Good! I'll die and your girlfriend will be mad at you."

"That's fine with me. She can't hurt me."

"But she has money. More than you."

"Oh yeah? How do you know?"

"Because she wear cute clothes that I've never seen before. Plus she has men that obey her. And you look like one of those rock singers that got ditched from a band for doing bad stuff."

He blinked in shock and amusement. Since when she got this attitude?

"Look girl.." he started.

"Himawari"

"Fine! Himawari....you're gonna eat this food, go to that bed and spend the night there. You will notice a sound. Not even the let me go phrase that you scream at me every five minutes okay?!?!?! You got it!?!?!" He yelled while they both stared back at eachother with rage.

But five minutes later, he handed her the plate of food after taking the first bites so she could finally eat.

Sakura finished checking on Tenten who was still asleep. She seemed stable but there was nothing to do besides wait.

Neji watched how the Haruno sighed. "You seem tired."

"It's part of the job. Mental clinique plus being the Head of the Medical Department comes with many nights without proper sleep." She said while smiling at him.

"Understandable. Same thing happens when you run a multimillionare company
Specially with all the family issues." He said while sighing.

Sakura noted something was wrong with him. "Wanna talk about it?"

"What?"

"Your family. You lost your uncle, Hanabi is taking the lead of the clan and they're blaming you for everything..."

"I have nothing. No family, no job, they took away all I gained during all these years for something I didn't do it. Plus...." he glanced at Tenten. "They blamed me for my relationship with Tenten."

"But, are you guys still dating?"

"We met again after I came back. We're just talking...but they knew and brought the issue again..." he said as Sakura quickly understood the pain he must be feeling right now.

She took a big breath. "Do you have a place to live at least?"

"I have an apartment for now. I'll stay there while I try to look for a new job. But that doesn't matter now. Once she wakes up, I'll see what to do next."

"Neji...." she replied in a sad tone. "There's no guarantee...."

"She will, wake up." He said in a serious tone.

Sakura nodded in silence and stood up. "One of the nurses will be checking on her during the night. If something bad happens they'll let me know."

"Got it." He said as she left. He looked at Tenten and grabbed her hand while she slept.

Who would’ve known that he would still feel the same after all these years. He blamed himself for being so stupid back then and for listening the elders of his family.

Tears fell throughout his face as he realized how much he hurt her back then and how his decisions made both of them become the person's they are today. He knew he made a mistake that lead him to a life full of responsibilities and loneliness, despite all the riches he could reach.
