One week later...

"Can I go home now?" Himawari said while sitting in her bed, getting impatient.

"Hima we have to wait for Sakura-chan to arrive" I replied as she groaned while lowering her head.

"If she doesn't come it means that I'm not healed yet?" She asked.

"No, it means that she has other people to take care about. Other patients like you, so we have to wait dattebayo." I replied as I went near her and hug her. "Don't worry, everything will be fine."

The truth was, that she wasn't doing that well. Her condition was worsening as time went on. Sakura insisted that Himawari will stay here for one week until she made all the studies she needed to determine her treatment.

Plus, what happened with Karin last week got me worried. What did she meant by taking her away from me? After all this time? Why did she left her in the first place? What is her true purpose?

Someone knocked the door. Himawari got super excited and almost fell off the bed but I held her back.

"Stay here Hima. I'll check-"

"But I wanna go!"

"Hima..." I said with a warning tone as she held back and crossed her arms.

"Fine." She said as I went to open the door.

"Ah, Shion!" I said while trying to control my nervousness.

"Hello Naruto-san. I came to see Himawari." Shion said with a small smile.

"S-sure why not?! Hehe... Himawari look who came to see you dattebayo!" I said as Himawati looked up and showed a big smile.

"Shion!!!!!" She said with open arms. "You came to see me!"

"Of course I did. I wanted to check you up since today's your last day here right?" She replied while hugging her and caressing her short hair.

"But where is Ino-san? And why uncle Sasuke isn't here?" She asked.

"Well they have to work. Remember that Sasuke-san is a police man and Ino has the flower shop." She said as she looked at me for approval.

But then Sakura-chan came in with a bright smile. "Good morning! Let's see how's the little sunflower doing?"

"Aunt Sakura!!" Himawari yelled with excitement. "Can I leave now? Am I cured right? Can I go home?"

"Woah girl, someone is really excited!" Sakura said while looking at me and then back at her. "Well Hima, I'm here to tell you that you can leave but-"

"Yaaaay!!!!" She said.

"Buuuuut...." Sakura interrupted her. "You have to fillow some instructions that I will give you okay. Your father will make sure you follow her so I'll go outside and talk to him first  and then I'll explain it to you. Alright?"

"Hai!"

"Good, Naruto.." She said while dragging me outside and closing the door. "Okay, look. You guys are able to go but she must take these pills daily."

"B-but why? Isn't she healed?" I asked as I read the paper she told me.

"Well, she's stable. She had her first attack." She said carefully. "Naruto, as time goes on she light be able to have more frequent and stronger attacks. Some of them might include loosing control over her arms and legs, other can be loosing the ability to listen or speak, and some of them can be forgetting things about her daily life."

"You mean that one day...."

Sakura stood silent and placed her arm on my shoulder. "You have to stay strong for her. This condition doesn't have a cure and if it continues like that, she might get a medical intervention."

"Can you do me a favor?" I asked. "Can you not tell her about this. I wanna tell her myself."

"Are you sure you will tell her?" Sakura asked skeptically.

"I will."

"Alright Hima, we're home" I said as we entered the small house.

"Finally! I'm home, in my bed with my stuff..." she said in relief. I looked at her, thinking on how to approach her about the pills she has to take.

But first of all I have to find a way to pay for that medicine and all the treatment she received last week.

"Himawari..." I said while gaining her attention. "There's something Sakura-chan told me."

"What did she told you?"

"Well....you see..." I hesitated. "You are healed! Sakura found a way to healed you last week. But to make sure you don't get sick, you have to take these vitamins dattebayo!"

"I do?" She asked. "But I'm healed!"

"Yes princess but you have to get strong to not fall on the hospital again right? So you have to take them everyday to get strong like your father alright?!"

"O-okay..." she said. Then someone knocked the door and she rushed to open it. "Hello sir!"

The man asked for me and when I reached them he gave me a letter and left.

"What is that daddy?" She asked.

"I don't know." I said as I opened it, only to reveal that it was a custody lawsuit from Karin.
Himawari saw my face expression and picked up the letter and read it. "Karin? A-Aunt Karin's back?"

"Mhm...she...she wants to take you away....from me.." I said in shock, trying to control my anger and desperation. However,

"Father...." she said while her eyes bursting in tears. "She will take me away. I don't want her to take me away!"

"Hima-" I said while hugging her and calming her down.

"I don't wanna leave you! I wanna stay with you forever dad!" She kept crying. "I wanna stay here with you! Why did she come back!"

"Hima no one's gonna take you away from me. You hear me dattebayo?!" I said while keeping her close to me. "You're my little princess, my daughter. And nobody's gonna take you away from me okay!?"

"Okay.." she said in a scared tone. "I love you dad!

"And I love you too, Himawari."
