It took 2 weeks for me to get out of intensive care department. Two long weeks for me to think of my new reality.

Actually, it's been my current reality, only that I ran away from it. 

"Still thinking, usuratonkachi?" Sasuke said while snapping me back to reality.

"Sasuke, I don't have a house to stay. The apartment where I live is a mess datebayo! Hima can't live there!" I said with a mix of panic and determination.

"Oh I've always knew you were a trash talking looser living in a piece of junk." He replied with a smirk while I glared at him. "That's why we managed to get you a new house under one condition."

"We?"

"Sakura and Sai made the arrangement to rent a new apartment for you to stay with Hima. It's near her school and near your future job."

I blinked a few times. "F-future job?"

"A company's construction. They're building a new store and they need people to work for them. Sure, you can work there while you get something better."

Then the Haruno walked in with her latest medical report. I was so speechless that her entrance caught me by surprise.

"Well, Naruto seems like you're about to leave this afternoon." She said while noticing her fiancée's presence. "Sasuke-kun! No way....you told him about the deal?"

"I'm about to.." the Uchiha said as I looked at the in confusion.

"What deal?!? Tell me!" I said with anxiety as Sakura turned to face me.

"Naruto. You have to promise us to take care of Himawari as you should've done in the first place. We're giving you a house and a job to work on. All you have to do is what every normal family does to raise their children." She explained.

"You don't have to pay her and Sai for the house, but you have to start Himawari's medical treatment and you have to live for your daughter." The Uchiha sighed for a moment with his eyes close. I knew there was something else and I also knew that even he didn't liked the idea.

"If you don't do this, we're going to take legal action against you.."

"So...you're taking me to prison?"

"Not only that..." the Uchiha sighed again..."We're taking her custody away from you. We'll make sure to find someone who can truly take care of her and you'll never see her again. But that's only if you don't follow the rules. Understood?"

I stared at both of them and noticed that even though they really didn't wanted to go this far with me, they knew it was a drastic measure that it had to be done if necessary.

I sighed..."Fine. I'll do it."

"Hn." Sasuke said while standing up. "Then get ready, we have to pick her up at school."

"I'll make the arrangements to transfer Himawari's belongings to the new house." Sakura smiled at both of them. "Oh and Naruto..."

"Yeah?" I asked.

"You've been given a second chance. Don't waste it." She said.

"Nejiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yelled Lee who went over the edge once he saw the Hyuga across the street. He was already hugging him to the point it became uncomfortable.

"Lee come on, it's not like if he died" Kiba said while rolling his eyes. "Snap out of it!"

"But it's been soooo loooong!!!! Eight years since I last saw youuuuu!!! Neeejiiiiiiiii!!!" Leee kept saying in his dramatic voice.

"Lee...s-stop it!" The Hyuga replied with annoyance. "There's people watching..."

But then he noticed how a certain police appeared beside them on her motorcycle. She took her helmet off, revealing a long, brown braid waving from side to side. The woman looked stunning as ever to the Hyuga. Then she gasped.

"Oh my Kami Lee!!!! Stop it you're crushing Neji!!!" She said as she managed to break the hug between the two. "Now it's my turn!"

Luckily, this second hug was less painful than Lee's.

"Tenten... it's....you're a police agent?" Neji questioned.

"Transit division. Kiba and Lee are my teammates, but look at you! You're a huge businessman!" She said with genuine amazement.

"Yeah man, you surely have to invite us to one of your business parties.." Kiba said in a teasing tone.

"I don't have time for that"

"Yeah, you never had the time for anything. I remember when you and Tenten were dating in High School. It was a rough time back then ah, Akamaru?"

"Barf!!" Amakaru said.

Tenten rolled her eyes. "Anyway, what brings you here?"

"Hyuga Clan business, and a desire to learn what exactly happened eight years ago." He replied.

"Well many things have happened Neji. Many of us chose different, youthful paths in life!!" Lee commented with joy.

"Including Hinata's death?"

The three policemen blinked in surprise.

Tenten was the first to speak after a while. "Neji....you...didn't know about it?"

"I was away doing business when that happened. Uncle probably didn't wanted me to get distracted. Eight years away from here. And now that I came back, thinking how have they been I realize that they're all...dead..."

"Not all of them..." Kiba said as the Hyuga looked at him in surprise. "Naruto and Himawari still live... But it's kind of complicated."

Neji looked at the small Uzumaki Hyuga family photo where Naruto carried a 2 year old smiling Boruto in his arms while Hinata carried a sleeping, recently born Himawari. He stared at it for a moment, remembering the day he learned the truth about them.

*Flashback*

"Neji, you have to know that many things happened here while you were gone." Hiashi said in his serious tone while Hanabi only listened.

"If it's about leading the clan and the legacy like you told me when you picked me up at the airport, then I promise that I won't disappoint you."

"I know. You've proven to be an excellent successor of the Hyuga clan." He said while Hanabi made a small clench of her fists. It was small, but enough to be noticed by Neji who remained silent.

"But you also came here to know about my daughter, Hinata." Hiashi continued.

"Is she and Naruto alright?"

"No. They all died exactly eight years ago on a fire."

"No!" Neji said while processing all the information. "But the kids! How did it happened?!?!"

"Don't act so surprised Neji. They weren't meant to each other in the first place. Only destiny made sure that those abominations were erased from history."

"I understand that you never liked the idea of Hinata marrying Naruto. But the kids, they were kids!! Kids who didn't deserve to have such a short life. They...." he said while trying to find the words. "They were a family... How can you talk so easily about this?!?"

"We understand your reaction Neji." Hanabi said. "We did the same back then when we heard the news. But when things aren't meant to be, destiny will take measures for it..."  Hanabi said.

*End of Flashback*

Neji looked back at his friends with determination.

"Were is Naruto?"
