"No problem" tommy returned their smiles "now go have fun on your dare I'll see you tomorrow"
With that tommy was left home alone with Michael
"Uncle Tom.y, uncle tom.y" Michael called
"What's up tiny child?" Tommy questioned
"Can we make cookies?" Michael asked in a hopeful tone
"Listen as long as you don't tell your dad's then sure" tommy nodded heading to the kitchen with Michael
"What kind should we make? I suggest sugar" Michael beamed
"Suger cookies it is then" tommy chuckled
"Yayyy" Michael shouted
"Can you get the eggs, butter, from the fridge please?" Tommy questioned
Michael nodded and got the ingredients he was tasked to get while tommy got sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla extract, from the cabinet
They both placed the ingredients on the counter and washed their hands
Michael stood on the stool after while tommy got a bowl and the mixer out
He pre heated the over to 375 F (190c)
He grabbed another small bowl and the things you use to measure before setting them in the counter as well
Tommy handed Michael the instructions
"Stir the flour, baking powder. And baking soda together yeah?" Tommy said handing him the things he needed as well as the tools he needed for measuring
"Ok" Michael chimed
While Michael worked with the dry ingredients tommy pluged in the mixer and melter the butter
He put the butter, and Sugar in first
Then the vanilla and eggs
Once both tommy and Michael were done with their tasks tommy not wanting to make more of a mess took the dry ingredients stoped the mixer for a moment dumping the whole bowl of dry ingredients before turning the mixer back on
While the mixer mixed tommy and Michael wiped off the counters and swept the floor making sure there was no evidence of the cookies making mess
The also put the ingredients away but not the point here
Once they did all that they took a pan out of the cabinet and placed the cookie dough on it
Not before washing their hands again
They then out said cookies in the over for approximately 9 minutes
Once the cookies were out of the over tommy placed Michael in a chair and the cookies on a plate also grabbing two glasses of milk
They had cookies and milk just chatting what each other's option on chocolate milk was
After they are some cookies tommy just set Michael In front of the tv so he could do the dishes
After he did the dishes tommy turned off the tv and took Michael up stairs to his room
"Want to draw?" Tommy asked ignoring the fact it was 9:30 pm
Michael nodded
The each chose a color to start with
"Uncle Tom.y you can borrow one of my coloring books here" Michael said shoving a coloring book at Tommy
The two colored for a while not actually drawing
Once they finished their master pieces they put the markers and coloring books away
Tommy grabbed a random book off the shelf and sat down in Michaels bed with him
Tommy started to read the book and withen minutes Michale was asleep cuddled into tommy's side
Shortly after tommy put the book down and fell asleep as well
