Never Say Forever //Luke Hemmings

Chapter 2

Blake's POV

Ash and I have been hanging out for a couple weeks with just the 2 of us. I think about Luke often but I try to forget about him. If he didn't have time for me then, he doesn't have time for me now. My thoughts were cut off when I recieved a text.

AshTheSexyMan: Hey gorgous :) let's hang out today

Me: sounds great! :) what do you want to do?

AshTheSexyMan: come over! The boys are here and I really want them to meet you.

All of a sudden my heart started to pound like crazy. I never told Ashton about me and Luke. He would be mad at me for not saying anything.

Me: Sorry Ash. I just remembered I have a huge test this week that I really need to study for. Another time?

AshTheSexyBeast: oh yeah no problem. We gotta practice but I'll talk to you later!

I didn't respond. I just sat on my windowseat and thought..and thought and thought and thought.

I was napping on the couch when I heard loud banging on the front door. Caroline had class today so I sleepily rose to open the door. Who could it be?

I opened the door to see Ashton staring down at me. He walked straight in and gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead. I hugged back but was surprised to see him.

"Ashton what are you doing here?" I asked him in surprise.

"We thought you could use a little study break."

"We? "

"Yeah the boys are on their way." He responded smiling. He had no idea what was about to happen.

As if on cue there was a knock at the door. Ashton jumped towards it and swung it open. There they stood. My dear old friends who I haven't spoken to in years.

I made eye contact with Calum and he slightly gasped.

"Boys come on in. This is Blake, the girl I've been telling you about." He wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

They all stared at me in disbelief, looking my body up and down.

"BLAKE", Mikey screamed and ran to me for a hug, "where have you been?" I sure did miss these boys.

Next was Calum to come up to me, "I'm sorry Blake. You know we didn't forget about you right?"

I didn't respond as I looked over at a very confused Ashton.

"What the fuck? You all know each other?" Ashton slightly yelled.

We all nodded, except for Luke who just stood staring.

"We're just old friends," I told Ashton giving his arm a reassuring squeeze.

I looked over at Luke and remembered all the great memories we shared. I failed to tell Ashton, or anyone, that I had had a crush on Luke ever since we became friends. I didn't want Ash to get the wrong idea by telling him. I really like him.

I walked up to Luke and we just embraced each other in a hug. "I've missed you Blake," he whispered in my ear. I pulled away from the hug and just responded with "Hi Luke how have you been?" I became upset and angry remembering all the times I tried to get in touch with him and he was just to "busy".

"How about we order a pizza then?" Ashton broke the silence.

I spent the rest of the night with the boys watching TV and pigging out on junk food. It was great.

"We better get going Blake," Calum said, "it was great catching up, we'll see you later."

Luke, Michael, amd Calum walked out the door and Ashton stayed behind. "I had a great time with you," Ashton said smiling, "I hope we can all do this again."

I smiled back at him giving him a hug. "Goodnight Ashton." I said into his chest.

And with that he left with the other boys.
