Never Say Forever //Luke Hemmings

Chapter 10

Blake's POV

Caroline finally came home. I think she went home with some guy last night. Can't wait to hear that story.

"Sooooo," Caroline said as she plopped onto the couch, "I heard about Luke and Alex's little brawl over you." She started laughing.

"....why are you laughing Care? This isn't funny." Even though I started to laugh myself.

"I told you Alex loved you."

"He was drunk. He didn't know what he was saying."

"He was drunk alright. But, most people confess their secrets and feelings when they're intoxicated." She smirked.

"Shut up." I sighed sitting next to her.

"You are such a guy magnet Blake. I'm so jealous. Why will no one love me?" She put her face in my shoulder.

This was like a daily routine for Care and I. She talks about how she has no love life and I comfort her. Sometimes I'm forced to watch chick flicks with her and eat pizza all hours of the night. What are friends for though, right? She's always been there for me.

Before I could say anything to her, my phone rang next to me.

It was Alex, I decided to answer.

"Hey Alex."

"Blake, hey. I'm really sorry about last night. I was drunk and my mind wasn't all there."

"It's fine Alex," I told him, "Come over. Caroline finally came back home."

"Okay. I'll be there in 10 minutes." He told me.

"Hello hello." Alex yells as he barges through our front door.

"Come on in why don't you." Caroline says sarcastically.

"Let's do something fun today guys," Alex's smile is wider than usual, "how about the water park?"

"Sounds great!" Care yells with excitement.

I wasn't really the type of girl who liked to flaunt myself in a bathing suit. I never really feel comfortable in a bikini, but my friends seemed really excited.

"Okay sure." I told them, forcing a smile.

"You can even invite Luke." Alex told me still smiling.

What's with him today?

Caroline and I looked at each other in shock.

I didn't say anything though, just called Luke and he was going to meet us there.

This should be fun.
