Chapter 8

Blake's POV

I woke up to someone lightly pushing on my arm.

I looked up and it was Alex.

I was slightly embarrassed because I looked like a mess, even though Alex has been one of my best friends for a long time.

"Hey Blake, how ya feeling?" He smiled at me.

I tiredly smiled back at him, "I'm better thanks."

"How about we go out somewhere tonight? Take your mind off of things."

"I don't know Alex, I'm not really feeling it tonight."

"Come on Blake, Care and I are going to a party."

"I'm not really in the party mood." I told him.

He was about to object when the door opened.

We were both very suprised to see Luke standing in the doorframe with his hands behind his back.

"Hi B." he said to me.

"Okay I guess I'll go," Alex said reluctantly, "bye Blake, feel better." He kissed me on the forehead which he never does, so it was kind of weird.

"Bye." I smiled at him.

Luke walked in and shut the door behind him.

I covered my face with my sheets and turned over. I look horrible right now.

"Blake..what are you doing?" Luke asked me.

"I look disgusting right now." I muffled.

"C'mon Blake. You look beautiful no matter what."

We both went silent and I blushed under my covers.

I shot up and showed my no-makeup face and messed up hair.

Luke started laughing when he saw me.

"What are you laughing at?" I asked him.

"Your hair." He said continuing to laugh.

He lifted his hand up and smoothed out my hair at the top.

"I brought pizza." He said holding up the box.

I gasped getting excited.

"Everything on it, but no mushrooms." He told me.

"You remember my pizza order?" I smiled.

"Of course, we're best friends." He responded.

We're not best friends, I thought to myself.

I didn't feel like fighting with anyone else so I just smiled sweetly at him.

"So how does Netflix and pizza sound for tonight?" He asked.

"Sounds perfect."
