Never Say Forever //Luke Hemmings

Chapter 7

Blake's POV

The next day Ashton and I went and saw a movie together. We'd been seeing each other a lot lately and I was really enjoying it.

Ashton and I were walking back to his place when he stopped and looked at me seriously.

"What is it?" I asked him worried.

"Luke told me he gave you a ride home last night. I could've drove you, you know." He said to me.

I suddenly felt like a horrible person.

"I'm sorry Ashton," I told him, "I wanted to walk home, but Luke wouldn't let me."

"Okay Blake." was all he said.

"Ashton?" I looked at him.

"You know maybe you and Luke actually have something going on. That's fine, just don't pretend that you like me."

"I'm not pretending Ash!" I yelled back.

"I think we should just take a break and be friends." he said, "I'll walk you home."

Ouch. That hurt.

I was angry at him and I was angry at Luke.

"No, I can walk myself home. Thanks Ashton." I contained my anger and walked away from him.

I looked back at him and just saw him walking in the opposite direction.

I ran straight up to my room, past Caroline. I opened my door and jumped on my bed, face in my pillow.

I heard Caroline's footsteps coming up the stairs and seconds later my bedroom door opened.

She stood by the door with her arms crossed, "What's wrong Blake?"

"Everything!" I screamed with my face still in my pillow.

She sighed and sat on the edge of my bed, laying on top of me.

"Care get off! You're heavy." I laughed.

"Then tell me what happened. Do I need to fight someone?"

"No," I told her sitting up, "Ashton broke it off with me."

"WHAT?" She yelled.

"And now I want to die in a hole." I told her.

"Nooo Blake, don't do that." She said laughing lightly.

"I just want to be alone right now." I told her.

"Okay, call me if you need anything. I'll make you food if you want!"

"No thanks Care." I smiled at her.

She walked out my room and I decided to take a much needed nap.
