"𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶...𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴..."
Walking down the cramped hallway you took note of the strange smell that flooded the halls. You couldn't describe it all that well but it wasn't a pleasant smell that's for sure.
As you rounded the corner a painting caught your eyes in an instant.
An eye-catching black and white oil painting showing Lucifer falling from the sky hanged on the wall by its self.
You couldn't take your eyes away from the piece. There was something so captivating about the way you could see each stroke and how Lucifer was painted in such detail although being so "small".
"Come on we have to keep moving," Maki said knocking you off your trance.
You hummed in response giving the painting one last glance before moving forward.
As you walked up the flight of stairs you couldn't help but noticed the same painting you saw earlier hanging in the exact same spot.
"How strange..."
You quickly dismissed the strange coincidence simply thinking the owners were fairly fond of the painting. But after walking up the stairs once more you quickly noticed that something was off.
"Maki...somethings wrong..." you mumbled looking back at Maki who was thinking something similar.
"(Last Name) stay here," Maki said swiftly walking up the flight of stairs.
You waited a few moments only to see Maki rounding the corner with a slight scowl on her face.
"Huh...that's strange..." You smiled growing slightly nervous by the strange predicament.
"We should be on the 9th floor if we go up those stairs but we're still on the 8th floor..." Maki sighed growing frustrated with the current situation, "This must be the curses doing."
"But a low-level curse shouldn't be able to do this-"
"Well, I guess we're not dealing with a low-level curse anymore." Maki cut off.
You let out a light laugh at Maki's words before seeing an abundance of hands creep around the corner.
The hands all lept out towards the two of you- their fingertips ready to grasp at any movement they sense up ahead.
"Maki behind you!" You shouted right as the curse launched at her.
In a moment of panic, you grabbed Maki's arm pulling her back from the curse's reach- you watched as the hands barely grazed at the tip of he nose.
That's when you were able to get a good look at the curse's truly disgusting form. Not only was its body made out of the long deformed arms but judging eyes covered it from head to toe.
