"𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹."
"What am I to you?"
"Well...Ummm..." Your words trailed off as you attempted to explain your feelings.
"Just tell me the truth (name)."
"Megumi..." it felt like you were always saying his name but nothing after, "I care about you deeply. I've known you since middle school and..."
Your words got caught on your tongue, barely making it past your lips as half-spoken words filled the air.
Silence came next as you wanted to die from pure embarrassment.
"Well, would you look at the time I gotta go!" You babbled as you quickly got up and headed to the door.
Before you could reach the door Megumi grabbed your wrist preventing you from leaving. You turned back to face Megumi who looked nervous as a pink shade of hue crept onto his cheeks.
Looking back at him made you realize twenty things at once.
The way he bites on the corner of his lip ever so slightly before speaking.
The way his brows furrowed as he thought about what to say, and how to say it.
"(Name), I don't even understand my feelings about you," Megumi said staring straight at you. "It makes me stressed because I don't even understand anything about how I feel lately but I do know that I want you by my side."
Silence filled the air once again.
Yet this time it wasn't as deafening as before.
You felt your body soften upon his words, they were probably the nicest things he ever said to you.
Looking down at your wrist taking note of how gentle his grip was, realizing this was the first time he's ever really touched you like this.
There was an air of intimacy that coated his hold, his fingers grazing your skin.
"Sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable," Megumi uttered, his hand slowly yet almost reluctantly leaving your body.
"No, no...it's fine..." you reassured rubbing the back of your neck, "I should get going..."
Once back at your dorm room, you buried your face into your pillow from a mixture of emotions.
You didn't even have enough energy to scream or shout.Your heart has never felt this heavy, like a weight pressing against your chest leaving you unable to move. With any sudden movement, you feared your whole life would crumble.
The main thing you wanted to do was sleep but, you doubt that you could even get a few minutes of rest.

"(Name)...you look horrible!" Nobara gasped in worry at your tired and disheveled appearance.
"Yeah...I'm just tired of the training." you lied staring at the ground, the tips of your shoes pressing into the dirt.
"Maki is pushing us harder than usual," Nobara murmured leaning her head back. "Ok, spill it (name) something is wrong!"
"Nothing is wrong I swear Nobara!" you sighed attempting to disprove Nobaras assumptions, which were correct undoubtedly.
"I won't stop bugging you until I get a proper answer!" declared Nobara trying to get more information out of you, her scowl becoming more prominent by the second.
"Nobara I just couldn't sleep that's all—"
"Hey, hey, what's going on over here?" Asked a sly voice that you knew all too well.
"Gojo, what are you doing here?" you looked up to see Gojo smiling softly, as he dangled a bag of food from his hand.
"I came to see how the training is going so far." grinned Gojo, "The exchange event is in two days so I decided to see how much y'all have grown!"
"Don't you have missions to be going on?" scoffed Megumi walking over, his hands shoved into his pockets.
"Ah! Megumi long time no see!" Gojo smiled opening his arms ready to hug Megumi.
Megumi pinched the bridge of his nose before letting out an annoyed sigh, "It's only been a day."
"Well I do have a mission but I wanted to see my dear students!" Laughed Gojo while Megumi glared at him, "Oh, I almost forgot! Here! I brought everyone some snacks! Don't forget to share with the second years!"
Digging into the plastic bag you noticed all the snacks that Gojo gave you. "Some mochi, Hi-chew, daifuku, Onigiri, and I think that's it."
"First years back on the field!" Shouted Maki making you jump slightly.
"Ok give us a second!" You yelled back quickly putting the snacks back into the bag before following Megumi and Nobara back onto the field.
"Hmm. Gojo got you snacks?" Asked Maki peering into the bag you were holding.
You held out the bag allowing Maki to get a better look at what snacks were inside. "Oh yeah, he told us to share with you guys."
"I suppose we can have some snacks." Maki grinned, taking off her glasses.
You all sat on some nearby stone steps scarfing down the delicious food along with the others.
"Fish flakes." Smiled Inumaki as he happily ate his onigiri.
"Hey slow down you'll choke on the food!" Warned Panda glancing at Inumaki.
You weren't paying attention to anything that was going on around you until Maki hit the top of your head with her staff.
"Ow! What the hell?" You asked winching in slight pain.
"Get up we got training to do."
That's when you noticed that the others had finished their snacks and were heading onto the field to train, leaving you with Maki on the stone steps. You got up in a hast and followed behind Maki who started to walk ahead.
"Zenin-"
"Don't call me by my last name!" Snapped Maki glaring back at you.
"Oh sorry, I forgot," you murmured rubbing the back of your neck.
You rubbed your fingers over your bruised knuckles that formed from the harsh training that the second years were putting you and your classmates through.
Maki let out a deep breath before looking forward. "It's fine what we're you gonna ask?"
"Oh, I was wondering," you paused for a second, "what's the strongest curses weapon you weld?"
"Why do you wanna know?"
"Since my ability allows me to create any weapon I desire as long as I understand what it looks like and how said weapon works," you looked over at Maki who hadn't shown many expressions on her face since you spoke, "...I was thinking that I should learn about more cursed weapons so I can use different types of weapons during missions."
"Hmm...after training come to my room."
