"We're too close, Jean! You kill it!" Connie cried as I neared a window of HQ. A titan had stuck his head through the window, breaking the glass and preventing us from entering. Surely enough, like we had predicted, a herd of titans gathered around HQ to get to the dozens of supply unit soldiers that were hiding in there.

"On it!" He replied as he swung his blades and sliced deeply into the titan's nape. It fell to the ground in a cloud of steam. I landed inside the room and put Connie down, sighing from the comfortable loss of extra weight.

"Alright! Who here is from the supply unit?!" I yelled as I neared an overturned table. A girl popped her head from the table before sighing in relief and coming out.

"Thank you for coming! We thought we wer-" I cut her off with a harsh punch to the face, my anger getting the best of me. I grabbed her collar and pulled her towards me.

"Do you want to tell me what the actual fuck is wrong with you cowards?! We're out there risking our lives and all you can do is sit here like ducks with no regard for how we'll survive when we run out of gas?!" I growled into her face. She shivered. I threw her down against the ground and raised my leg to kick her.

Armin stopped me. "Lio stop, we don't have time for that! We'll beat them up later!" He gestured for a few other supply soldiers to follow him out of the door. "Come on, we can't waste a minute!" I was about to follow them when I realized Jean wasn't moving.

"Jean, come o-" I stopped myself. Through the hole in the wall, 2 titans peeped their heads through, smiling creepily. One had raised his hand out to grab Jean. Then something strange happened.

A hand, much larger than a humans, came from the right and punched the titans faces. I ran to Jean and we looked down out of the building. Surely enough, another titan had punched them and was starting to attack the other titans as well.

"What the fu..." I said, my voice trailing off. The titan roared loudly before throwing punches, ripping limbs, and twisting necks. "A titan attacking other titans..." Jean's mouth hung open.

Mikasa flew in from behind me. "Mikasa, you made it!" Jean said, relieved. I looked too and gave her a brief hug before showing her the bizarre titan. She nodded.

"Yeah, we saw it on our way here... It saved me." She said. To be honest, the titan looked a lot like Eren, but stronger (obviously).

And of course, like all things were in this strange world, as the titan collapsed on the ground in a cloud of steam, a boy came out of the nape of the titan's neck.

Eren.

I gasped, but jumped out of the building no less with Armin and Mikasa on my tail. I landed beside him and pulled him out of the flesh - I didn't have time to think into the situation, I just wanted to get Eren out.

I squeezed him into a hug as soon as he was free, before letting him go as Mikasa landed next to me to hug him too. I stood back and let the other 2 have their bonding moment with Eren - I felt like an intruder seeing as Armin and Mikasa had known Eren longer.

Mikasa gestured for me to come over. She pointed to his chest and I placed my ear against his chest feeling the reassuring slow thump of his heart. I pulled away and nodded at her, smiling weakly. Armin held his hand feebly, still not believing his eyes.
