((Lilia is now about 11 in human years))
•Lilia's POV•
I was walking to my ada's throne room, but I stopped at the door when i noticed he was busy talking to someone. I got closer and stood where they wouldn't notice me.
He was talking to a short man with dark hair.
My father asked the man many questions, but all the small man seemed to say was that him and his freinds were starving.
My ada had him thrown in the dungeons until he decided to answer the questions.
//The next day//
•Lilia's POV•
I was very bored a lot these days. I wasn't aloud outside because of the past events..
~ Flashback ~
Me and my nana were in the woods one day when suddenly a warg jumped out from behind some bushes.
"Run Lilia!" Talia ordered. "Go get your father!"
We ran through the woods towards the palace. I looked back, and my nana was gone, but I kept running as fast as I could and told Thranduil.
We searched and searched for my nana. Finally we found her, but it was too late. The warg had killed her. My father chased the warg off and then fell to the ground. I saw tears roll down his face. I had never seen him so sad in all my life. I sat down, and put my arms around him. We sat there crying for a long time. When we got back and after we told evryone the horrible news my father stayed in his room for a few days. He refused to eat or drink anything. When he came out, he wasn't the same. That day he swore that he would never let anything bad happen to me.
~ End of flashback ~
I was sitting in my room when my door creeked open. I looked, but there was no one there.
•Bilbo's POV•
I pushed open a door, which I thought led to the dungeons, instead I walked into a small bedroom. There was a young elf girl sitting on the bed.
"Who's there? Sh-show yourself!" she said sounding scared.
I did not want anyone to know that i was there, but if i did not show my self she would probably go around telling everyone that something strange happened. Then the gaurds would be more alert then they already are, and I did not need that. I decided to take off my ring and hope the young elf would not go around and tell everyone.
When i slipped off the ring she jumped back slightly.
"Who are you?" she asked.
"My name is Bilbo Baggins." i answered. "What is yours?"
"I am Lilia, the princess." she answered.
"Princess?" I asked. "Um.. P-Please don't tell everyone I am here."
"Why are you here?" Lilia asked.
"I-I just got stuck in here." I answered.
"Why were you here in the first place?" she asked. Tell me the truth. I won't tell anyone."
"I am trying to help the dwarves escape" I said. "I am going with them to The Lonely Mountain."
"I will help you escape." Lilia said, "but only if you let me come with you."
"What?" I asked. "Why would you want to leave?"
"Ever since my mother was killed I have been stuck in here. I haven't been allowed outside. I know my father is just trying to protect me, but I want to see the world. Let me come with you and i will help you escape" Lilia said.
"You are just a girl" I said.
"So" she said.
"I-It is dangerous" I said.
"This may be the only chance I have to ever leave" I said. "Let me come with you and I will get you the keys and help you escape."
"Ok, but we will have to ask Thorin first." I said
