•Lilia's POV•
"I am nervous, Fili" I said.
"Why?" He asled.
"I don't know what my adar is going to do or say.. I am afraid that I have dissapointed him" I said.
Fili just looked at me, not sure what to say.
Last night we had built a wall, so that no one could get in the mountain. Thorin made us work almost all night long, so I was very tired.
We walked to the wall and then climbed up to where everyone else was waiting.
"Wh-where's Bilbo?" I asked.
"I haven't seen him" said Kili.
Bofur shot me worried look.
I looked out in the distance and saw my adar and his army coming, along with Bard and some people from laketown. When they got really close I sat down where they could not see me.
Thorin pulled out his bow and shot an arrow right at me adar, making me jump up. The arrow hit the ground right next to him.
My adar stared at me.
"Lilia" he said.
"The next one goes between your eyes" said Thorin.
Suddenly everyone in my adar's army pulled out there bow and arrows and pointed them up at us. Everyone ducked except for me and Thorin. Thorin grabbed me, and held me where everyone could see me.
"You ought to be ashamed of yourself just letting your daughter go away like that." Thorin yelled.
My adar stared at him, furious.
"Get your hands off her!" He said.
"Though.. I don't blame her for wanting to run away" Thorin said, ignoring my adar, and looking happy with himself.
My adar looked at me. I could tell that he was hurt. Hurt by the fact that I ran away, and with dwarves!
Thorin pulled me over to him and put his sword gently against my neck, making a small cut.
"T-Thorin! What are you doing?!" I asked nervously. "Let go!" I yelled.
"Thorin. N-No! Let her go!" Bilbo yelled.
"You and your army are going to leave. If you do not.. you will have to watch me kill her" said Thorin.
I saw my father signal Bard to do something.
"If we leave you will not get this back" Bard said while pulling something out of his pocket. It was the Arkenstone.
Kili started yelling at them, while Thorin just stood there looking quite shocked.
"That is not the Arkenstone. It is in this mountain!" Thorin yelled while still holding on to me tightly, which really hurt.
"Yes. It's real" said Bilbo. "I gave it to them."
Thorin looked at Bilbo. First he looked hurt, but then he became so mad that he just threw me to the ground and stomped over to Bilbo.
I was worried about Bilbo, but I had to leave before Thorin threatened to kill me again. I climbed down the wall, and then I looked back up at Bilbo. Thorin had grabbed him, and was now holding him over the top of the wall. Suddenly a old man with a pointy hat and a gray beard showed up. "If you don't like my burglar, please don't damage him. Return him to me emmediately" he said.
Thorin let Bilbo go, and before long I saw him climbing down the wall.
He stood beside me.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"Y-yes.. it's just a small cut. I am fine" I said.
"Will you have peace.. or war" I heard Bard ask.
Suddenly we could hear the sound of an army coming. Thorin looked towards where the sound was coming from, and said "I will have war."
Then an army of Dwarves appeared at the top of the hill. They walked towards us.
The army of elves and men started to march towards them.
"Ada!" I yelled.
I couldn't see him anywhere. I got lost in the crowd.
"Bilbo!?" I yelled, but I couldn't see him either.
