•Talia's POV•

It had been a month since i came to mirkwood and King Thranduil had allowed me to stay. It was early in the morning when I was woken by Legolas barging into my room loudly without a care.

Legolas and I had become close friends over the past month, even though I was a good bit older than him.

"Wake up!" he yelled.

"Why are you waking me up so early?" I yelled back.

"Tauriel and I are going out to look at the stars and then watch the sun rise."We want you to come with us."

"Legolas" I replied. "It is very early and it is a long walk before we get out of Mirkwood where we could actually see the stars"  I whined.

"Oh come on. It will be fun" said Legolas.

"Oh fine! I'll go." I yelled. I was already wide awake so I just might aswell go.

Tauriel, Legolas, and I all sat gazing up at the stars.

Most elves loved the stars, we three loved them more than others. They are memory.

When we returned to Mirkwood Tauriel left to do her job for she was captian of the guard, and Legolas and I sat and talked for a while.

I usually enjoyed our chats, but today he brought up a sore subject.

"Talia, do you think you could ever love my ada" he asked suddenly.

I blushed and then froze for a moment not knowing what to say. "Legolas, I-I don't know" i stuttered. "Talia, you can trust me" he replied. "Now tell me the truth."

I finally answered "well I guess you could say I am .... attracted to him" As soon as those words left my mouth Thranduil walked in. I just knew he had been listening in on us, so i threw my face into my hands, not daring to look up at him. I heard him tell Legolas to leave, as he sat beside me.

"Talia, look at me" he ordered.

I looked at him and he asked,

"Is it true, What you said?"

"Y-Yes" I said quietly.

I started to cry, I didn't exactly know why. I had always been very emotional at times. I guess I was just ashamed that I left him when he proposed, but know I have come back and decided I had done the wrong thing..

"Talia, stop crying, Thranduil said. "Listen, you should know that I am attracted to you too."

I looked up at him with a shocked look on my face.

"E-Even after I left you?" I asked.

"Yes" he said.

"I am sorry I le-" I started but Thranduil interupted me.

"No, Talia. You do not have do apologize" He said.

"Yes. Yes I do" I said.
