• Talia's POV •

"Talia, may I have a moment?" asked Thranduil.

"Well ofcourse" I said smiling.

He took me to his room and went to get something out of his desk. I noticed a ring in in a small box. It had a beautiful jewel on it. Did it belong to his wife.. Or was it... For someone else? My heart skipped a beat. Thranduil and i had grown very close in the past months. Could the ring be for me?

Thranduil pulled me out of my thoughts when he pulled out a neclace and showed it to me. It matched the ring!

"Here, this is for you" he said.

"F-for me? Really?" I asked.

"Yes. Turn around and I will put it on you" he replied.

I turned around to let him put it on me.

"Thank you, I-it's beautiful" I said looking at it.

He didn't answer.

Finally he said, "Well i must go now. I have business to attend to."

"Umm.. Ok" I said, but he was already gone.

I left the room and I heard Legolas call my name.

"What is it?" I asked.

"You should be getting ready. Tonight is the Feast of Starlight!" legolas replied.

"Oh! I forgot. I have been kind of distracted today.... Well I will go get ready! See you tonight" I said.

"See you tonight" Legolas replied.

On my way to my room I ran into Thranduil, literally.

"Ah. Oh.. I-I'm sorry" I apologized. "It's ok, Talia" he replied. I suddenly blushed thinking about the rings. I am sure i am just overthinkg it. I am sure it is just his last wife's ring.

He noticed and asked "What?" "Nothing" I lied.

"Sure..." he said acting suspicious. He smiled and kissed my cheeck.

"If you say so" he said and then left. Aeren came and helped me get ready. I wore a beautiful white dress with long sleeves, and in the back on  the bottom it went down lower than the front. It dragged behind me. I decided to just leave my hair down.

The feast was amazing, everyone dancing and having fun.

I was just walking around watching everyone until Thranduil grabbed my hand and pulled me to him. "Dance with me" he said.

"You know I don't dance" I replied.

"Why not? You would be great at it. Come on lets dance" Thranduil insisted.

I sighed.

"fine" I said.

We danced for a little while, even though I kept stepping on his feet. He would just laugh, trying to ignore the pain. Finally we stopped and we both went to talk to other people.

I went to talk to Legolas.

"You should ask Tauriel to dance" I said smiling.

"Oh no, I can't" he said, frowning.

"Come on you know you want to" I said. Then I pulled him over to Tauriel and said, "Legolas would like to dance with you, Tauriel"

She blushed and said "O-ok."

Legolas awkwardly held out his hand. She took it and they walked towards the middle of the room. Then they started to dance.

I laughed. Legolas was worse than me.

I watched them for a while then walked out onto the balcony.

"Excuse me" I heard someone behind me say. I slightly jumped and turned around.

"Oh Thranduil, Hi." I said. He seemed a little nervous about something. He walked over to me.

"Um... Listen, I have really enjoyed your stay here and I-I really love you. I was just wondering, if you could go back to the time when I proposed to you, would you have stayed and married me?" he asked.

"Why don't you find out?" I smirked. Thranduil got down on one knee and pulled out one of the rings I had seen in his drawer.

"Talia, will you marry me?" he asked.

I cupped his cheeks in my hands and said "There is only one ellon I would ever marry..and that is you. Even if I have to deal with your short temper" I said, smiling.

"um.. So that's a yes?" he asked. I gigled. "Yes. It's a yes" I said, happily. He picked me up and held me up in the air. Then he pulled me into a kiss. We soon noticed everyone staring at us. Then they all began to cheer.

I looked smiled at Thranduil and he hugged me tightly.
