it took you a while to fight your way through the crowd. the living room was filled with chatter, people and music, all of it getting on your nerves.

saya's house was kind of big compared to what was average in japan. her mother was a lawyer and her dad had another well paid
job, you didn't know exactly. in conclusion, the house was spacious and so was the living room.

easily forty people were in there, pressed closely together and either engrossed in a conversation or dancing. the music wasn't
that bad, if you listened to it for a while.

you found yourself a more quiet place, on a couch in the corner of the room, near one of the four speakers. your bottle of wine would last much longer, but you sunk into thepillows, legs serenely spread and adjusting your corset.

taking another sip, your tongue almost numb to the taste, your eyes analyzed the people around you, even though your sight
was a little blurry. as if it would help, you rested your head on your hand, squinting your eyes together.

time went by, the music got louder and your bottle got empty. you let out a faintly moan and got up. closing your eyes for a second
you tried to find your balance, already regretting coming here.

you couldn't take much alcohol, but if you got started once, you didn't know when to stop. now was a great example. unfortunately, the table with several bottles and cups was near you, so it didn't take you long to findand open another bottle.

you didn't bother reading the etiquette. with a satisfied smile you noticed, that your thoughts were completely silenced. maybe you'd become an alcoholic. you giggled at the idea.

due to your dizziness, you almost fell when someone bumped into you by accident. their "sorry" didn't really help. therefore you stumbled backwards a little until you were stopped by two hands supporting your back.

your brain took its time processing what had just happened and you turned your head slowly. "sorry" you mumbled as well, blinking
a few times while facing the pretty stranger.

"it's alright" he replied, examining you as attentively as you examined him. it was some kind of staring contest, but you were
too focused to realize that you were staring at him.

his hair was of a dark brown color, middle parted and medium long. the most
remarkable thing were his eyes. fox eyes, more likely. they were of a mix of green and yellow, and a little more narrow than average. but holy shit, they were intense.

all in all, he was pretty attractive and you felt your face heat up a bit. when your gaze wandered down, you noticed a stain on his black sweater. "you spilled your drink."

the boy smirked. as if he wouldn't have
noticed himself. "yeah, i know. someone bumped into me" he replied, dropping his empty cup on the table next to him. you furrowed your brows, unsure if his statement was referring to you or someone else.

still debating, you stared at your freshly opened bottle. next thing he knew, you
offered it to him. he was confused for a second. "what's that?" he asked, taking the bottle and turning it to read the etiquette.

you giggled and stuffed your hands in your pockets. "i have no idea" you said, a bright genuine smile on your face. he looked at you
and then at the bottle. "hmmh" he hummed, nodding, and took a sip without any further words.

a few minutes later, your bottle was in your possession again and you found yourself on
the couch. but you weren't alone. he was next to you. and the more time passed, the more people joined you and the boy who had been keeping you company since you'd offered him your drink.

you were leaning against the armrest of the sofa, your companion next to you, who sat in the same position you had been in before:
legs spread and arms crossed. it looked very hot.

„let's play a drinking game!" someone suggested and you stared at the girl. apparently, a lot of people weren't drunk enough already, because there was vociferous agreement.

„move over!" you looked around to identify the voice. it was another guy who talked to your newly made friend, if you could call him that. you hadn't exchanged many words. said didn't look very pleased by the request.

„there's no  more space. sit on the floor" he barked, tone more harshly than when he'd talked to you.

you silently watched with interest as the two of them fought over the place on the sofa. until a girl intervened with a suggestion. „she should sit on your lap. then there is more space."

when she said 'her', she pointed at you. you gazed at her indifferently, more because you didn't quite understand what she was saying.

„fine."

seconds later, you didn't lean against the arm rest anymore but sat on you companion's lap. again, your brain took a while to process things. this was all going to fast for you. your mind worked at one third of it's normal speed.

hands rested on your hips, pulling you in until your back touched his chest. then he let you go and you just sat there like struck by a lightning, completely lost.

you were on a guy's lap. a stranger at that.
what the fuck. maybe it was your body or
your will, but you didn't move. instead, you leaned back against him, without considering the circumstances.

perhaps he had a girlfriend. or maybe he was gay. whatever.

the back of your head rested on his shoulder. while the others were talking, singing and taking off clothes for truth or dare, you examined his jeans down to the smallest detail.

until the bottle in the middle of your little game circle pointed at you two. „truth or dare?"

„dare."

he must've been a little exuberant.
