in order to escape the situation, you'd fled to the little bathroom at the end of the hall to refresh your face with cold water.

it had a little window to its northern side, allowing a view of the street. squinting your eyes together, you weren't able to identify any of the street signs, no building seemed familiar.

bringing the questions back up: where were you?

drying your hands with a towel, you checked your look in the mirror and were satisfied more or less. there was no trace of any of your make-up, maybe suna removed it. what else did he do  for you yesterday?

questions over questions, but at least the effect of the pill showed and your headache was reduced to a bearable minimum.

you entered the kitchen, only to find suna smoking next to the window. you thought about reminding him that he wasn't allowed to smoke, since he was still a minor, but you decided not to.

you had no idea how old he was anyway neither did you have the right to admonish him.

you cleared your throat to get his attention, and he turned to you, cigarette between his fingers. he looked so hot in his loose shirt and black sweatpants, it made you swallow hard.

„where am i?" you asked straight forward, all shyness washed away by now. maybe it was the medicine, but you suddenly felt closer and more connected to him than before. it was probably just imagination.

„what are you talking about? you're in my apartment, obviously..." suna replied, frowning in confusion. did you hit your head in the bathroom? there were no signs of an injury though.

you shook your head to deny his possible assumptions in advance. „no, no, no! i mean ummm...where do you live? like...district or street or something..."

the name of the street he lived in didn't help you at all, your sense of orientation wasn't that developed. suna could read from your face that you still had no idea of your whereabouts.

„if you go grocery shopping with me real quick, i can drive you home after it. or you wait here until i'm back" he offered, flicked the cigarette out of the window and leaned against its frame.

you rubbed your upper arm, another gesture of yours signaling your uncomfortableness. „i'll be good, i don't want to cause you any trouble..."

the situation seemed quite familiar, since you'd always had your problems to find your way back home from your ex-boyfriend eno's house.  you hadn't been at his place very often.

in the beginning he had been willing to accompany you, but with the time he'd become more and more annoyed that you weren't able to figure out your way through the labyrinth of streets and corners.

at one point, you'd just stopped asking, even saved your mobile data for google maps to lead you. a muscle in your face twitched at the memory of those bitter times in your relationship, again you remembered how careless he'd gotten over time.

and you'd still stayed.

you'd been staring at the floor while reminiscing, your distracted mind didn't notice him approaching you. just when the fabric of his shirt touched your bare skin, you winced.

he examined your startled self for a second, while putting on his sweater. „i wouldn't offer it if i didn't want to. i'm not that nice" suna informed you, a bratty smile on his face. when it came to being nice, you'd actually gotten the impression that he was kind of a nice person, taking care of you and all.

„fine, then. i'll join you" you decided quickly, looking around searching for your jacket. „what are you looking for?" he asked soon, eyebrows raised while awaiting an answer. „my jacket. i think i've worn one yesterday..."you mumbled faintly.

fro the corner of your eye you saw him scratch his neck. „yeahhh...about that..." he began, tilting his head to the side. „did i loose it? or did i pee on it?" you were embarrassed immediately about what you'd just said, your cheeks blushing once again in a faint shade of pink.

suna chuckled. „no, you didn't. but you uhhh...threw up on it."

„of course i did."

what hadn't you done yesterday? thrown up, peed on yourself, drank too much, kissed a stranger and clung to him until now. life couldn't be more embarrassing, could it?

you just hummed, traumatized by your own actions, slowly shaking your head in disbelief. „you can have mine." you turned around, your lost gaze taking a moment until it focused on the jacket which was hovering in front of you.

that guy surely liked to offer clothes, didn't he?  while muttering a 'thank you' and slipping your arms through the big sleeves, you wondered how many girls had already worn this jacket or that shirt you'd slept in.

how many girls had kissed him on parties, had woken up in his bed, had had breakfast with him, had him put on his shirt, had gone grocery shopping with him?

probably a lot, considering his looks and laidback attitude, which you knew was quite popular among the girls nowadays.

your inner voice reminded you that that was none of your business. it was almost like eno had brainwashed you, making you all undecided and insecure. you reached for your phone on the commode in the hall, turning off airplane mode.

three seconds later, it vibrated non-stop. suna stood next to you, getting a look at your lock screen on which almost hundreds of messages popped up within seconds. „didn't know you were that famous" he chuckled, but you didn't feel like laughing.

the sender had made you loose your smile a while ago. suna had missed that it there were just two senders, seventy messages from one of them.

he opened his mouth again, but suddenly you looked so down that he didn't know what to say. "let's get going" he said instead, opening the front door and waiting for you outside.

seventy messages from eno, saya'd saved him as "maniac" for you.his psychopathic self was showing again, especially if he was drunk. and apparently he had been drunk yesterday.

your stomach rumbled dangerously and you started to feel sick again. "you good?" suna's voice pulled you out of your thoughts. your gaze was dull when it met his, eyes blank in shock.

suna genuinely had no idea how to handle this situation, he didn't even know the reason of your sudden mood switch, but he was hungry and there was nothing left in the fridge except for milk and cereal and something undefinable.

"maybe you should leave your phone here if it gives you that much bad vibes, huh?" he suggested, his eyes not leaving you. you just nodded numbly, not being able to say a word.

eno was going to kill you, if you two met again. the marks on your neck burned for an instant like a reminder. even if he was your ex and even if he had a new girlfriend (what you suspected), he was still possessive. you'd always hated it.

you put your phone back on the counter and plodded along with suna, gaze directed to the ground absentmindedly.
