"You have a broken mirror too?" He looks at me in shock.
"Yeah."
"You're just like me?" He says looking straight into my eyes, his eyes sparkling.
"Yes, I am." I glance back to his, a cold icy blue.
Trapped in a world where you want to be someone...
School is finally over and I coincidentally find myself with a heavy amount of material to study for this week. So maybe Namjoon's little cafe study thing wasn't a waste after all.
I take my bag and find myself outside about to walk home.
I wonder if Namjoon ever took Imani on a date.
No, if he did then Imani would've told me.
This isn't a date, right? Just meeting up with him and talking about his revolution thing.
My thoughts break and I receive a text from Namjoon.
Namjoon
nj: hey, we're meeting up here.
Magic Shop 9494 Everlasting Shine Road, HK, 63981
is it just you and me?
nj: yeah
Something about that makes it a little exciting. I never actually went to a cafe with a boy, so this is definitely a first.
I wonder what dad will think about this. I told him I just went to a cafe to study but not with a boy. I don't think I could imagine telling him actually.
I walk to the cafe, it was a rather long walk from the school. I see the stores lining up by each other with pretty clothes and perfumes. I see some cafes as well. I'd love to shop here but I never got the time. Maybe in the summer. I finally reach Magic Shop and open the door the bell ringing to alert me that I'm here.
The smell of fresh coffee infiltrated my nose. I see students studying by a window and people talking away. Plants were hanging giving a cozy atmosphere and portraits of quirky quotes were hung up on the shelves by the plants. Soft music filled my ears.
I can see why Namjoon liked this place.

I see a tall man with dark hair sitting on a wooden chair focusing on his papers.
Oh, that's probably Namjoon.
"Hey." I breathlessly say as I sit down on the chair across from him.
I thought I'd get used to walking this far since I walk to school and back almost every day with Imani but this was a little farther.
"Hello," He looks up at me with his brown chocolate eyes and his glasses perking up his nose. "Maybe you should rest for a little before studying." Noticing my exhausted self.
Wow, he really wore glasses. I wonder if he forgot his contacts or something.
"Yeah." I take the menu laying in the middle of the table. I look at the food I could buy. "Oh did you already order?"
"No, actually I just came here, like a couple of minutes before you." He says focusing on whatever he's writing on his paper.
"Okay, I'll order for the both of us."
I felt better and not as breathless as before. Though this is kind of awkward.
I look at the menu finding something that might interest me.
My eyes first go to the dessert. Strawberry cake or chocolate cake?
I should get something to drink too. I'm craving something sweet.
"Namjoon what are you getting?" I ask him as I give him the menu.
"I'll just get an Americano." His eyes sticking to the paper as his hand vigorously writes.
"Okay then," I reply taking back the menu at his careless rejection.
A waiter comes by with pale skin and cat-like green eyes with a defined nose.
"Hello, what would you two like to order." He asks ready to write.
The boy across me obviously doesn't seem like he would want to speak up consumed by his paper.
"One Caramel Macchiato, a chocolate cake slice, and an Americano please."
He nods as he gets the last bit down.
"I hope you two enjoy your stay here." He says happily and leaves looking at both of us slightly giggling.
Wait, what if he thinks we're a couple? No way I mean usually couples actually talk to each other right and stare at each other's eyes.
Like in those movies and shows?
I'm probably overthinking. I haven't even started studying yet.
I pull out my notebooks and solve mind-wrecking equations trying to focus.
"S-so how are you?" Namjoon asks finally looking at me with his brown eyes.
"I'm okay, how about you?" I reply as I tried to find something to look at. I found myself tense talking to him all of a sudden, I can't really explain.
"I'm fine. I actually wanted to talk to you about what you thought about my plan, are you in?" He says calmly.
I find my knee shaking up and down underneath the table as my forehead was beginning to sweat. I kind of wanted this to be a calm cafe day and for once not think about our stupid mirrors or a revolution against the King.
Who am I kidding, I'm talking to someone who's obsessed with this sort of thing.
"I actually...I-" I couldn't find the right words. It's not like I didn't know he would ask me this but I don't know how big of a risk I am taking.
"I don't really need you to sacrifice anything, I just need to talk to your dad. That's not even now, that's after graduation and all. I right now want to think of a plan and if you'd like you can help me on that." He coolly explains to me as if already knowing what I was about to say. He understands me so well without me even being able to explain.
Of course, he needs my dad. I'm not really involved at all.
He wasn't stuttering at all like when I first met him instead I am.
He seems really passionate about his whole revolution thing.
I stop shaking my leg and finally find enough confidence to say something.
"I will join you."
Namjoon eyes lit up and he smiles gleefully.
"On one condition."
"What is it?" He inquires.
"I don't want to be involved if it's risking my life or my career in any way. I will back off if that's the case."
As much as I would love to help him and I love his intentions and idea, I need to think about my family and my future.
"I can promise that." He says with a small smile. "I'm just glad you're joining me. You actually are the first one." He says the last part quietly.
He looks sheepishly at the table.
So, I'm the only one in this "revolution" so far.
