This is how it starts

The Goddess of war sat in her penthouse, twirling her gun around as she sipped on some whiskey.

It was a great way to relive stress.

A loud bang made her sigh in frustration as she got up, gun still in hand along with her glass of whiskey

Walking out to the rooftops, she instantly spotted the disturbance, groaning as soon as her eyes landed on the Greek goddess

"Eros. You have 10 seconds to explain why your on my roof again" She spoke through gritted teeth, patience already running out

"Bellona! I love you!" Eros proudly declared, a grin on her face like she actually said something worth Jennie's time.

She didn't.

"You have 10 milliseconds before I blow your brains out Eros" She gritted once more, finger itching to pull the trigger

This damn Goddess refused to leave her alone. No matter how many times she shot the idiot

"You wouldn-"

BANG

Bellona walked over to the body with a frown, as she saw the golden blood leak out of Eros chest

"The thing that's so sad, is that you'll just come back to life" She huffed

Walking over the body Bellona sat down on the edge of her roof, feet dangling in the air as she sipped some of her whiskey

She felt hollow, but she couldn't tell why.

She had everything she wanted. A beautiful house. A good paying job that suited her powers.

But there was still something.

Although she was the Goddess of War, she never actually felt like inviting herself to the war meetings. She'd just show up with a couple men and some guns and help out her side.

"Why do you always look so distraught Goddess"

"Leave me alone Eros" Bellona pressed

"look, I won't flirt, no pick up lines. Just a genuine question"

Eros sat next to her, at a fair distance, but still too close for Bellona's comfort.

"Our Goddess of War is always happy, she- she's different from you"

"Yeah well that'd make sense. You people are fools with no responsibility"

"Well, we're good at some things.  But that still doesn't answer my question"

Huffing Bellona decided that it would be easier to just slightly spill some of her worries. Not all, but she could make sure Eros disappeared after

"Have you ever heard of the warrior Ligyron?"

Eros stayed silent for a moment before gasping

"Oh you mean Achilles"

"his true name was Ligyron. A Roman warrior that was sent to the Greeks sometime after his birth. He engaged in battle with Hector"

"I remember him. He didn't like my jokes, but likes Cupid's"

"He was my battle partner. Back in the less advanced times"

Eros turned to Bellona, surprised such a cold person could have such a sad tone. Even if it was just slightly deeper than her usual voice

"That was thousands of years ago. Bellona."

"It felt like yesterday. The Mortals don't know the full story, but Achilles as you called him. He fought like a bitch. Used his men to take out Hector."

"So I drove him to his death." Bellona said , not a shred of guilt in her voice

"Y-you killed Achilles?"

"I have no regrets. But sometimes, I do feel a pain, when the battle is mentioned." Bellona admitted, looking down into her glass

"Then maybe.  You do have regrets. But you just don't know what there for?" Eros said

Bellona simply sighed and downed the rest of her whiskey, standing up she went to walk back into the house

"Can I have a hug?!" Eros shouted

"Goodbye Eros" Bellona said simply, waving the gun she had shot the Goddess with around without a care
