I hum a song on the rooftop of Jennie's house, earphones in full blast.
A tap scares the shit out of me, making me jump up and scream
I look over to curse whoever that was when I see an exhausted looking Jennie. I instantly take out my earphones and stand up
"Are you okay?" I ask
"Fine. What did you want to discuss?" She says, cutting straight to the point
I ruffle about to grab my backpack and pull out the scrawny piece of paper I wrote it on.
At the top is Operation Title- Be Mine Please Jennie
"The suggested plan is, to show how either sons/daughters of either Kronos or Saturn can fall in love.Hopefully the love of being the people in questions bigger father's, would stop the war, so the couple could like happily in the world they chose" I say, proud I didn't stutter
Jennie looks at me like I'm crazy before groaning
"What the actual fuck is wrong with you? No-one is going to fall in love. Especially not Romans and Greeks! Head out of your ass Eros!"
I smile sadly and put the paper down
"I love you. Even if you don't believe it's true. I really do love you" I admit honestly
Jennie's face stiffens before her eyes go slightly cloudy, as if she was trying to hide tears
"You love me huh? You love me even though I hate you? You love me even though I've shot you multiple times? You'll love me when I lose my shit and all I can do is hurt the people around me? You'll love me when I'm having a bad day, and I'm snappy grumpy and violent?!" She yells, tears slowly seeping out of her eyes
Why does she think this is some elaborate joke?
"Of course. That's what love is. Loving someone no matter their bad or good side. Loving someone no matter what they do to you"
Jennie chuckles, but it sounds forced
"You are so- so full of shit. You don't love me Eros. You can't love me Eros" She says before turning around to walk away
I run and grab her arm and pull her into a hug
"I-I promise. I can't- I don't know how to prove it to you, but I really do"
After a minute or two, I start to get worried, she's not saying anything, she's not breathing
"Get off me" She says weakly
I pull away, but leave my hands resting on her shoulders
"Move, I need a drink. You can stay out here, and we'll talk terms when I'm ready" She says, storming away from me
I huff and sit on the rooftop, putting my earphones back in as I try to sway along again
She's so mean sometimes

I'm slowly drifting to sleep, when I hear Jennie call my name out
"LISA MANOBAN" She basically screams
I get up instantly, thinking she's in danger and teleport to her living room
"Whats wrong?" I say, seeing her on her couch, head down and hands clenched
"You love me?" She asks, voice slightly slurred
"Yes. I do"
She looks up at me with red eyes and a broken smile
"Then fuck me"
