"Oh hey karma, you're early again." I couldn't help but feel the fondness growing in my heart more.

"Yea. I've been having fun hanging out with you lately, so I figured why not." he shrugs his shoulders and smiles at me. "Come on, let's get going." he situates himself next to me and wraps his arm over my shoulder.

A shudder runs up my spine, but I push it away. I mean this is just karma after all. I know he has no ill intent. "Yea, let's get going."

We start walking together up the hill. His arm is warm and loosely hangs over me. I know it's just a gesture of friendship, but I can't help but enjoy it in a slightly more intimate way. I really can't help but to just stare. He's a pretty good looking guy. His hair looks shiny and smooth, his eyes have that brilliant glow that just captivates the onlooker.

Then my heart rate quickens and cheeks get warmer as I realise that he's staring back at me. How long have we been staring at each other? And how is he not uncomfortable by this? Does he even realise we're just staring at each other? Oh gosh oh gosh what do I do?

"Ah, hey karma?"

"Yea?"

"Uh, how long were you waiting for me? Eh, I-mean-if-you-were-waiting-for-me-that-is."

He chuckles and pulls his arm off of me. A cool breeze hits my back making the lack of touch apparent. I let out a breath i didnt realise I was holding. He looks at me and smiles. "Not long." he winks

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Dont worry about it." he raises his hand in that all familiar way of him about to ruffle my hair, but he freezes and lowers his hand back down, shaking his head side to side dismissively.

"Okay?"

He walks ahead a little bit and turns back to me. "Let's hangout at lunch again. There's something I want to show you."

"Ah, sure. It better not be anything gross."

"What? Me showing you something gross, never." he places his hand over his chest in feighn hurt and exaggerates his voice.

The day goes on as normal, well for the most part. I kept getting sidetracked by my thoughts. Although as if Koro sensei noticed and kept grabbing my attention in some way by being clumsy or making jokes. Of course I know this is just how he is though. I wonder how much the teachers know about my life though, about what's been happening at home, and if they know anything about...that situation. This stupid situation of blackmail and humiliation.

"Hey nagisa." karma? "You're totally spacing out there, what are you thinking about?"

"Ah, nothing much." I look around and see everyone putting away materials, or finishing up notes. I look back up at karma who is standing next to me and notice that he has this all knowing look on his face.

"Well anyways" his eyes brighten and a wide smile spreads across his face "let's head out for lunch now."

"Okay."

I stand up and grab my lunch and as soon as it's secure in my hand karma places his hand on my back. Then takes me out of the classroom and to the trees just outside of the field. We sit down on some of the roots. I look up at the sky, my thoughts drifting again. I wonder when those two will be done with me, if they ever will be done. Where is this whole thing going to lead? What else will they make me do? How much more will I have to endure?

"Nagisa?" karma's voice snaps me back into reality. His voice extends the last bit of my name in an almost scolding way.

"Hmm?"
