day 3 persistance

Bzzz bzz. My phone ended up waking me up instead of my alarm clock. It took me a while to even realise that I was receiving text messages.

To: nagisa shiota

From: karma akabane.

Hey nagisa.

Wanna meet up in front of the school?

To: nagisa shiota

Nagisa?

From: nagisa shiota

Hey, sorry. I'm down with meeting up at the school, but why? You usually show up late anyways.

I want to talk to you about some stuff in person.

Okay?

Let's meet up 30 minutes before school starts, sound good?

Sure.

I close my phone shut and look at my alarm clock. Luckily since karma was the one who woke me up i had plenty of time to get ready. I grab my bag and put yesterday's homework in it. I walk up to my closet and grab my uniform out of it, putting it on. I then make my way downstairs to the kitchen. The scent of baken fill my nose.

"What are you making mom?"

"Well your up early. Im making poached eggs, you want some?"

"No thanks, i'm meeting up with someone today before school."

"OOOoo is it that friend of yours?"

"Mom!"

"Relax relax, im just teasing. At least take something with you." she turns around and faces me. She grabs an apple from the fruit basket and holds it out. "Here. take this."

"Thanks mom." and with that i left the house, nibbling on my apple as i make my way to the school.

The walk used to be tiring, but now it seems pretty easy. I left a bit early to our meet up time, so i look around at the scenery. I walk this everyday, but i've never really stopped to look before. You can see the housing departments and the city. It's pretty neat to see. I keep walking up the hill, the old rundown school starting to show, but there was also something else, a spot of red. As i got closer i got to see what it was, and to my surprise it was karma.

Karma waved to me as soon as he saw me. "Hey nagisa, your early."

"Yea, and so are you, your never early."

"I can be when i want to."

"I guess so, so anyways, why did you invite me out so early?"

"I wanted to talk about the prank."

"Your still going on about that?"

"So do you want to do it?"

"Of course not."

"Oh, why not?"

"I just don't want to."

"Wow your such a buzzkill."

I shake my head as a response.

"Well, wanna walk around then?"

"sure, why not."

"let's go this way." karma starts walking out towards the forested area. I follow along watching karmas back. Soon we enter the forest the whole walk I couldn't help but think about what type of friend karma is to me. I wonder what he would do if he knew about my situation. Would he get angry? Would he try threatening someone? Knowing him he would probably try fixing the problem on his own, but can I even trust him? I mean, he wouldn't do anything to harm me, but what would he try?
