"Ed something's wrong, it's the girls."
"Come on hun I'm such everything is fine and they are just all asleep I promise." Ed placed his hand on my knee, rubbing it up and down.
"No something is wrong I can feel it. Can't we go faster."
"Honey I am driving as fast as the roads let me."
"Ed the girls are screaming I can hear them. We have to get home quickly."
"Ok I'm driving as quick as I possible can."
As we pulled up to the house, the lights were flashing in every room. I could see someone stood by the front door. Just as we parked, I swung open the door running up onto the porch.
"Anna?"
"Mum it's Judy I can't get back in. Nan is in there but I don't know what's happening."
"Ed we need to get in." Ed pushed the front door as hard as he could. The hinges cracked as the door fell open.
"Mom, Judy where are you?"
"There the living room. Judy honey I need you to stand away from the door. But Dad someone's in here with Annabelle. She is rocking in the chair."
"Sweetheart I can't open the door if you don't move. It's ok don't be scared."
"Judy just stand away from the door baby. Dad will get you out." I placed my arms around Anna as she gripped my waist hard. Ed threw himself at the door as he grabbed Judy, pulling her out of the room as the rocking chair came flying towards her. I quickly let go of Anna, running to embrace Judy.
"Baby you are okay now. It's alright."
