Anna
Dad came towards me, placing his arms on my shoulders as he put them down my back. "Your safe now my and mom are home." It was 3 am. A night that felt like an entirety. We all headed upstairs. Dad went into Judy's room, and mom came in mine. "Oh Anna sweetheart. Your safe now it's alright baby." I got into bed as mom sat on the end, looking over at me. She rubbed her hand on my forehead as I slowly closed my eyes. She kissed my head and went to leave the room. "Mom please don't go."
"What's wrong baby?"
"I'm scared to stay alone."
"Alright let me say goodnight to Judy and your dad okay. I'll be right back."
Lorraine POV
I closed Anna's door softly behind me, heading one door down to Judy's room. Ed was resting next to Judy as she sobbed softly into his arms. I walked over, putting my arm across them both, placing my head against Ed's. Judy looked up at me with a weak smile. "Mom where is your necklace?" I put my hand onto my chest. Oh no, where is it? A level of fear must have hit my face.
"It's fine Lorraine we will look for it in the morning. It's probably just fell off in the car." I nodded and kissed Judy on the head.
"Goodnight Judy."
"Goodnight mom." I kissed Ed on the lips as he placed his thumb on my nose.
"I'm just going to get changed okay Judy I'll be back in a minute."
"Okay Daddy." We walked out of the room as he grabbed my waist, kissing my neck softly.
"Ed, stop the girls will hear." I let out a little giggle as he pulled me in closer. I turned to his face and gave him a big kiss.
"You know I don't think I have ever slept this far away from you."
"Well you gonna. It will give you something to look forward to tomorrow." He smirked at me as he grabbed me and pulled me in tight, kissing me once more. "Come on I have to get back to Anna."
"Goodnight Lorraine"
"Goodnight Ed. I love you."
"I love you Lorraine."
I headed back into Anna's room as she laid awake watching her bedroom door. I smiled softly as I walked in, closing the door behind me. I lifted the covers and got in beside her, kissing her head.
"It's okay honey your safe now. Mom's got you."
