"Big day for you Athens," Mark woke me up with a kiss.
"Ugh, don't remind me," I groaned and covered my head with the pillow.
"No. Get up, get up."
"Make me."
"Fine," Mark huffed and proceeded to pick me up and put me in the middle of the kitchen.
"Alright, you made me."
"What time is Derek picking you up?"
"Uh, I think in like an hour?"
"Ok. Do you have everything? Who's driving? What car are you taking? Text me when you get there, land, get to the hotel?"
"Yes, me, the black one, yes, yes, and yes."
"Ok. Wait- you're driving?"
"Yes? You have an issue?"
"Well- you're driving skills aren't the best-," he winced as he said that.
I reached up to grab a magazine and smacked him on the head, "Shut the hell up."
"Ow. Are you changing?"
"Um, why would I? I'm going on a plane, nowhere fancy."
"Ok. Well Derek is picking you up soon, you should start gathering your stuff."
I rushed to get my suitcase and backpack and put them at the door.
-knock knock-
"It's Callie!"
"And Arizona"
"And Sofia!"
I laughed softly, "Come in!"
Callie danced a bit, "Are you excited?"
"Eh."
"Eh?! You're meeting the president, you don't get to be eh about that!" Arizona yelled.
"I don't know. I guess nerves, but idk?"
"Understandable. What time is Derek picking you up?" Callie asked.
"Half hour? He's normally early though."

After Derek pulled up, Mark helped with my bags and put them in Derek's trunk.
He wrapped me into a tight hug, "I love you. I'll miss you."
I looked up at him, "I'll miss you too."
"Have fun with the hotshots Athena."
"Thanks Callie and Arizona."
"When will you be back Auntie Athena?" Sofia asked.
"Only a few days sweetheart."
"Oh ok."
"We gotta go Athena!" Derek yelled.
"Ok, bye! I'll see you in a few days."

I hopped in the driver's seat and cranked the radio.
"No. I would like to get to DC in one piece."
"Oh stop. My drivings not that bad."
"Are you going the back way near the hills?"
"Yeah."
"Pull over."
"Why am I pulling over?"
