Aqua's P. O. V:

A few nights later, I was lying on my back while rereading Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, as the second book comes out in August. I'm wearing my pink Aristocrat pyjamas that has the white kitten, Marie printed on them, my hair left loose.

My room in The Avengers Tower is basically the same as my room in my house, back in Malibu. Scarlett is curled up against me, purring contentedly. Tony had allowed me to bring her with me, and she's become like the tower cat. Scarlett gets along with pretty much everyone, and her three favourite people are Bruce, Nat and Cap.

I have Bloom, Leo or my parents looking after Glimmer for me, and whenever I'm not on mission, I would try to go home to exercise Glimmer.

There's a knock on my door, causing me to look up. "Come in," I call. The door opens to reveal Cap, in a short sleeved white shirt and black pants. "Hey." I smile at Cap as I sit up straighter and he comes over.

"Hey. What are you reading?"

"Throne of Glass, by Sarah J. Maas. The second book comes out next August. So it's actually a reread," I explain.

"I hardly ever see you without a book. You really do love reading, don't you?" Says Cap.

"Yup. So, is there any particular reason you came to visit me for?" I ask, setting my book on my nightstand that has the same horse lamp and my phone on it, on the left side of my four poster bed.

"I just came to see how you were doing. I mean, after what Strucker almost did to you when we caught him," Cap says as he gets into bed beside me and I shift over, before cuddling into Cap's side.

"I'm fine. I knew I had nothing to worry about, with you there," I say as he begins stroking my blonde hair, which has grown a few inches in the last few months.

"You always surprise me, Aqua," Cap says.

"And you once said there was nothing that could still surprise you," I say, making Cap chuckle.

I smile up at him and Cap leans down to kiss me. I feel warmth spread through my body as I kiss him back.

We pull back and Cap murmurs, "You're so beautiful."

That makes my heart go a flutter in my chest and my cheeks to turn red.

Cap leans down again and our lips dance against one another, soft and tender.

Cap is such a good kisser!

Cap runs his right hand along my side gently and I feel his thumb stroke my side as Cap murmurs, "I can't wait to here you sing tomorrow night. Can you tell me what you're going to sing, Aqua?"
