Aqua's P. O. V:

"Wow! Look at all of you!" A holographic image of the Grand Master appears in the centre of the arena, chuckling. "Quite a show! What a night! Who's having fun? Please! I'm your host. Big round of applause for all of our under card competitions, who, today, died so... brutally. Good sport! What a show! What a night! This is what you've come for! And, so have I! Tonight, we have a special, new contestant. She's stunningly beautiful, and strong, too! A Warrior Goddess, from Earth! She's got special abilities. There's no further need for introduction, same old thing! Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, The Little Mermaid! Who is also known as Ice Queen and Queen of Blood!"

I step out into the arena and pause, gazing around. I'm wearing a shoulder guard on my left shoulder, gauntlets and shin guards, and have chosen a bow and quiver of arrows and shield, but they let me keep my bottles for my Hydrokinesis. My once near waist length blonde hair has been cut to just below my chin and I have red ear pain in lines on either cheek and up my chin, as well as a bit under my eyes.

When that senile old man brought that thing to my hair, I was literally crying—like, bawling my eyes out and crying. I was scared out of my wits! By now, my eyes are puffy and red rimmed from it. I'd also threatened to kill anyone who took my phone or headphones, so they're around my neck and my phone stashed in my pocket.

I'm greeted by deafening cheers as I walk onto the arena. I spot Valkyrie sitting on her ship above the crowd, alcohol in hand. I gaze around and spot a worried Thor standing before the window with Korg and the other contestants in the waiting pen. There's a bit of blood running down Thor's nose, and I knew he would've gotten that from a guard while trying to get to me.

I send him an apologetic look before I gaze around for Loki. I spot him in the viewing endow where the Grand Master and other higher ups are, Loki giving me an encouraging smile, some kind of drink in his hand.

Grand Master says, "I hope you all got your umbrellas with you, and your coats on! This girl can summon water and create blizzards! So, you might feel a draft in here soon!"

As the crowd cheers and sends me cat whistles, I shift my bow and flip the silverette the bird symbol, my hand trembling slightly as my face twists into the most unpleasant expression I could give him.

Loki spits his drink out of his mouth as he was taking it and the Grand Master looks at me in confusion, while I hear Thor laughing his head off behind me.

Grand Master looks to Loki as he sputters and asks, "What? What does that mean?"

"Oh, um, on Earth, it's called "The Bird," or "The Middle Finger," is used to flip someone off or to show the utmost contempt. Though, sometimes, it can be used as a playful sign," Loki explains, voice sounding over the loudspeaker, causing almost everyone to quiet down their cheers.

Both Thor and Loki know what it means as they'd spent enough time around me.

"Oh," Says Grand Master, shifting his attention back to me as I chuck my bow back in my right hand. "The Earth ways are very strange indeed. Let's introduce her opponent! He's strong, he's fierce! With the strength of ten men! The Boulder!!"
