Water and Ice (Loki Love Story)

Chapter 52

Third Person's P. O. V:

Tony clutches the unconscious blonde tightly in his arms, one arm lying under her knees, the other around her back, Aqua's head resting on Tony's shoulder.

There's a thick stream of blood leaking down Aqua's left temple and through her eye, as well as dripping down the center of her forehead and nose, veering off to the left side.

Tony feels beyond livid as his jaw visibly clenches, so hard he almost feels the enamel breaking.

Bruce spazzes out, "Oh, no, no! Aqua!! We... We gotta do something!"

Tony says stiffly, and Bruce and the others could feel the rage radiating off of him, "We need to get her out of here!"

"I know a place!" Strange says glancing to the Stark. He was worried for his friend, but they also couldn't lose her, as she's their only hope of stopping Thanos. "Wakanda. She'll be safe there. Step back and I'll send Aqua there."

Tony nods his head and gingerly places Aqua back on the ground, before stepping back. Strange waves his hands forward and sends Aqua through a portal to the palace at Wakanda.

Once she was out of harm's way, the males face the incoming alien and Ebony Maw, who is still standing back.

Tony says in a tone full of rage, "First, your boss killed my best friend's husband and made her cry, then you, Squidward, just tried to kill her. Here's the thing: nobody, and I mean nobody, makes Aquamarine cry like that and lives to speak of it, except me!! Got that?" Strange, Wong and Bruce stare at Tony, having not expected this from him, as it appeared as though he never liked Aqua.

Bruce heard that Tony was similarly like this when Aqua was almost assassinated all those years ago, but it was ten times worse this time around. Bruce knew the enemy was not going to survive this attack from the Stark.

Tony tugs the drawstrings from his black jumper and taps the device on the center of his chest and his body is covered by a red and gold armor. He then steps forwards as he raises a shield to block a blow from the approaching alien, then punches him.

Tony holds out his fists as blasters appear on either side of him. He then fired at the enemy and sends him flying back to Maw. Maw simply sweeps his arm to the side and sends his own ally crashing into a car.

Tony retracts his weapons as Bruce demands, "Where'd that come from?!"

"It's nanotech. You like it?" Tony says, turning to him. "It's a little something—" He's cut off as he's sent flying up into the sky by Maw's Telekinetic power.

When the fighting was over, Bruce finds Aqua's iPhone with The Little Mermaid phone case on it lying at his feet.

Bruce picks it up and blows dust off of it. He then turns to see Wong in a portal to the mansion and asks, "Where are you going?"

"Time stone's been taken. The Sanctum remains unguarded. What will you do?"

Bruce responds, "I'm gonna make a call."

Wong closes the portal and Bruce presses the home button, seeing a picture of Glimmer on the lock screen, before he pulls up contacts.

Bruce blows more dust off of it as he gazes at Cap's number before him.

Shuri was working when a sound behind her causes her to whirl around. A blonde haired figure appears on the ground behind her, and the portal showing New York City vanishes.
