-Joe POV-
I look up at the sound of the door opening, and see my best friend standing there. I shout out his name gleefully.
"Caspar!"
He runs over to me and hugs me tightly. It's a little awkward, but I suppose it's alright. I laugh a little to lighten the mood.
Then he starts sobbing into my shoulder, telling me how worried he was. This is getting a little too weird. I don't remember him being this clingy... But then again, I don't remember much.
Then, he kisses me. Straight on the lips. And he didn't even think about it! He just went for it as if it were completely normal!
I am startled at first, not knowing what to do. But then I come to my senses, and push him off of me. I start yelling at him. I don't care if he's my best friend, he was being a total fucking creep.
Was he even gay? I try to remember. Deep down, I somehow know he is. I think really hard. I vaguely remember him coming into my room that day.
I look back up to see tears flowing down Caspar's cheeks. Why the fuck was he crying? He just tried to kiss me, and I did what any normal person would do in that situation. So why was he overreacting so much?
"Caspar...?" I ask, my confusion obvious. He just turns and runs.
I sigh. Sometimes Caspar just acts weird, and that's that. I try to brush it off, but it wasn't easy.
After a few hours of contemplating the events of the day, I reach for my phone to check my contacts. I need to start remembering, and I need to take my mind off him
I scroll through the A's, and recognize all of the names listed. As I'm going through the B's, the first name is
'babe❤️❤️❤️' I didn't THINK I had a girlfriend... I decide to text the number to find out more. I just hope I wouldn't break her heat, not remembering who she is.
Surely she would've come and visited me by now? I hope I don't have short term memory loss as well.
I contemplate what to say, but eventually type out a long paragraph.
"Hiii. apparently ur my gf but i didnt see anyone in the hospital that mightve been u... in case u didnt kno im in a hospital and i have some memory loss. :( whats ur name? In my contacts it just says 'babe❤️❤️❤️' im rly sorry this must be so heartbreaking for you... :( But I'm sure once you come 'round i'll remember you immediately!"
