Lisa's pov:
It's been a month since Viv joined us and we have never been more successful in the league. We are at the top of the table with a 15 goal difference with Chelsea.
She is slowly becoming a part of the team. None of us can call her our friend yet, but things are gradually getting better.
Last week she finally started hanging out with us during the breaks. She doesn't engage in any conversations, but at least she is there.
Sometimes her coldness gets too annoying, but we don't really blame her for that. It's understandable. She will probably come around sooner or later.
Viv's pov:
"I am not participating!" I told Joe, slamming my hands on his desk.
"Sorry, but you don't have a choice. Team bonding is mandatory."
"Yeah, let the team do it, then. I'm not interested in bonding."
"I thought you were starting to like them."
"It's just a waste of time anyways."
"You've been working extremely hard these past few weeks and you deserve a little break. I promise you, it'll be fun."
"I am not complaining about the amount of work I have to do."
"I know, I know. I'm just saying that going out of town for a bit will be helpful."
"Whatever."
"I'll take that as a yes. Is there anyone you would like to pair up with?"
"No."
"Go see if anyone is still available and if not, I'll figure something out myself."
I left his office without saying anything and went back to the pitch.
I hate being here. Human interactions are too much for me.
